Hey there! I'm probably not going to continue this, just letting you know. It's an old story of mine, and I'm just not really feeling the same flow that I did when I started this.  If you wanna keep reading anyways, be my guest :)

Ymir's POV~

"So, to solve this part of the equation, you need to...."

'Geez...' I thought to myself as I smirked at my calculus teacher as he yakked on about some old math problem. 'At least it's only this year until I'm done with this shit.'

"Um excuse me, Mr. Smith, I have some papers for you from Mrs. Ral."

I looked up at the girl that walked in. Rather short girl... 'Mrs. Ral, huh? She was my math teacher last year. This girl must be a junior here at Kyojin High.' My eyes widened a bit as I snatched a look at her beautiful blond hair. As my gaze traveled around her, I was entranced by those luminous sky blue eyes of hers. "Ah, I was expecting you! Krista Lenz, right?" Mr. Smith replied with a smile, snapping me out of it. He's a nice guy, I just hate math. And math hates me, too. Krista... the name fits her well. "Yes, and here are the papers you wanted." "Thank you, Krista. Be sure to thank Mrs. Ral for me!" he responded, flashing her another grin.

I watched her as she turned from his desk and glanced around the room as she walked out of the room. She caught my eye and smiled as she passed my desk. I didn't smile back since I wasn't expecting her to notice me, and the corners of her mouth slackened as she shrugged slightly and glanced away. I cursed myself for not smiling back at her. 'She probably thinks I'm rude now... whatever. It's not like I'm ever  going to hang out with her...'

          Krista's POV~

I noticed a girl in the senior class that I was sent to staring at me. After I handed the papers to that teacher, I gave her a bright smile as I walked by her. She didn't smile back, so I shrugged and looked away. 'Maybe she was just bored and wasn't in a very good mood... Ah well.' "AH!" I squealed as I bumped into some senior coming back to class from somewhere. "Hey, watch where your going!" the guy I bumped into growled at me.

"Oh, I'm very sorry!" I thought to myself for a minute after apologizing. He was already walking away. I spun around in his direction. "Hey!!!" I raised my voice a bit, trying to catch his attention. "What now?" he inquired with an annoyed tone, not turning around. "You're in Mr. Smith's class this period, right?" I asked him. "Yeah, why?" he said with a smirk, finally turning to face me. "What's that girl's name with the short brown hair in the back of the class?" "Ymir." he said shortly. "Oh, okay. What's yours, by the way? Just in case I run into you again." I added. "Name's Jean." he replied. "Alright Jean. Bye!" When I finished talking to him, I noticed him walk up to some other kid with black hair and freckles. Marco, I think was his name.

Jean had kind of a horse face...

"Ymir..." I whispered to myself once I was alone in the hallway, loving the way her name rolled off of my lips. There was something about her that intrigued me. I hoped that we could become friends. Everyone that was currently my 'friend' only liked me because they think I'm cute, or that I'm a cheerleader. Once I open my mouth, everyone looks at me weird, like they expect me to just stand there and look pretty or something...

         Ymir's POV~

Everybody was clearing the room since the bell rang. Good, I can finally go home. Or to my small apartment I had to buy when my mom kicked me out, at least. I noticed Bertolt heading towards the cafeteria. "Yo Bert." Bertolt Hoover. One of my friends, I guess. Kinda shy, but somehow I became friends with him. "Do you know anything about a Krista Lenz?"

"Huh? Oh, hey Ymir... I'm surprised you don't know her. She's on the cheer squad. I know you don't really associate with them, but I would have though you would have known who she is, at the very least." he answered me with a puzzled expression on his face. "Heh. Mkay." I glanced away with a smirk. 'Dammit... I already didn't think we would become friends, but now I definitely know we won't be.' "Anyways, where's Reiner at? Don't you walk home with him?" I asked him. "Oh, he's probably walking home with Annie already... Annie, Reiner, and I all share an apartment together." he replied. "A'right. Catch ya later, Bert. You go catch up with Reiner and Annie." I said, turning away  to run to my locker real quick and grab my my car keys. If I wanted to get to work on time, I would have to hurry.

In my way to my locker, I crashed into someone. We both ended up on the floor, and with that person's books everywhere. "Ow...why do I keep bumping into people today...?" I heard that pretty voice, and  glanced over at who I had collided with. I saw the petite blond on her knees, rubbing her head. I stared at her for a second, looking her over to see if she was hurt or not. I stood and offered my hand to her. "Hello... Krista." I whispered to her.

         Krista's POV~

"Huh? Oh, hi, Ymir!" I replied, a tad bit too loudly, grinning at her like an idiot. I was on my way to go outside to be picked up by my mom, before I turned a corner and bumped into Ymir. She gave me a sexy (wait, what??) half smile with a raised eyebrow, probably wondering how I knew her name. She extended her hand a bit further to me, indicating that I should take it. I took her hand, noticing that they had a slight roughness to them. She pulled me up with ease, and picked up my books for me. As she handed them to me she asked me, "How do you know my name? I don't believe we have met before. I would have remembered a face as pretty as yours." she looked at me with a hint of blush across her freckled cheeks.

"U-um... I must have heard it somewhere before and remembered it..." I stuttered, staring at my feet with a heavy blush. " Anyways, do you mind if I walk with you?" I asked her, turning my head back up to face her. "Sure, cm'on." she answered. 'I should be wondering how she knows my name...' I asked myself. 'Since we've never met before. Oh well, I am a cheerleader... eh.' When we reached Ymir's locker, no one was around anymore since it was now time to go home. "You have a phone?" she asked me.  Was that a hint of nervousness in her voice? No, she carries herself too confidently for THAT. "Um, yeah... Here, I'll write it down for you. What about you?" I replied.

         Ymir's POV~

"Ah, I can't remember it. I'll be sure to text you, though." I told her, feeling like an idiot for not remembering my own number.

"Oh, okay." she said in a quiet voice back to me, her eyes trailing to the side. "I really will, as soon as I get home, okay?" I rushed the words out of my mouth, trying my best not to discourage her. She could very well be my first real friend...

          Krista's POV~

"Okay! Well, I'd better head home, otherwise my mom is going to worry. See you tomorrow, Ymir!" I said my goodbyes to her with a huge smile on my face as we walked away from each other, excited that I might make a friend that liked me for me.
