Chapter 9 Meeting the Parents

A Few days later
Nicole's POV
So here I am trying to pick out an outfit to wear tonight when I meet Ethan's parents tonight and I've been at this for about three hours now and I don't know to go with dressy look or a casual look. I finally decide to mix the two and go with a nude and white striped dress and some nude colored sandals . Now it's about four o'clock in the afternoon and Ethan will be here to pick me up at six thirty. After picking out my outfit I go take a shower and then blow dry and curl my hair then I do my makeup putting on some MAC Studio Fix Fluid foundation and NARS concealer then adding some blush and lipgloss. After that I go get dressed and put on my shoes. By the time I'm done I hear the doorbell ring so I grab my matching clutch and head towards the door and once I open the door I'm meted by a handsome looking Ethan whose wearing a white button down shirt and black jeans and white vans. He looked yummy. "Hello baby you look absolutely sexy and beautiful if I say myself ." Ethan says and I blush and lean up on my tippy toes and kiss him and tell him " you look devilishly handsome I'm one lucky lady." Thank you baby that means a lot coming from my one and only now I think we should get going my parents are excited to meet you." So we make our way to Ethan's black Range Rover. He opens the passenger door for me then shuts the door and gets in the car and we make our way to his house I say " Ethan honey I'm scared to meet your parents what if after meeting me they don't like me and don't want us to be together anymore ." I say in a nervous tone " baby relax everything will be fine my parents already love you from what I've told them about you." He says then he grabs my hand and kisses it then giving it a light reassuring squeeze and we hold the rest of the way to Ethan's house. Once we arrive at his house I'm in shock but in a good way Ethan's house is a beautiful two story brick mansion I love it and him mostly him. Once we walk inside Ethan's wraps his hand around my back and pulls me close to him and shouts " mom , dad were here." Oh my goodness Ethan she's more beautiful then you described her to be it's wonderful to finally meet the girl my son is head over heels for ." Thank you Mrs.Dolan its wonderful to finally meet you to." Oh dear please call me Rebecca ". Lisa
dear what's all this commotion." Dad this is Nicole the girl that I'm madly in love with." Ethan says proudly " well it's finally nice to meet the girl that makes my sons world go around." Well enough chitchat lets get to dinner yes? So we walk into the dining room and sit down for dinner and learn more about Ethan even the embarrassing childhood stories. Like one time Ethan and Grayson thought it would be a great idea to dress up in their moms clothes and shoes when they were about four years old. I laughed and thought it was cute and Ethan asked his mom to stop embarrassing him. Around 9pm Ethan told his parents he was going to take me home so we said our goodbyes and Ethan drove me back to my house and once we pulled up Ethan said " my parents really love you and except you as apart of the family and that makes me extremely happy knowing that they except you because I never plan on letting you go." Ethan says with love in his eyes " that's good to know because I never plan on leaving you either ." Then Ethan pulls me into a loving kiss then walks me to my front door kissing me once more and we exchange goodnight and I love you's to each other. Once I walk into my house I walk to my room and change into pjs and lay in my bed falling into a peaceful sleep.
