Natsu's POV.

I am soo, HUNGRY!

Gramps over on the pedestal wants to talk about something "important". Some kind of season in magic users that drives everyone crazy? I don't really know much about it, but whatever this Magic season is, I'm sure I can take it down. My flames haven't disappointed me once!

As he finished his speech, I yawned and went to the bar to talk to Mira and get something to eat.

Before I even sat down, she set a pile of drumsticks down in front of me. I beamed and started wolfing them down.

"So I'd guess you have to stay away from Lucy for the next two days, eh?" She asked.

I stared up at her from my almost- empty plate. "What?"

She shook her head, and began to pour a keg of beer for Max. I went back to eating my last drumstick.

"I knew you weren't listening to the master." Mira chuckled. "Do you want me to give you a  brief summary of what's going to happen?"

I paused, my mind going blank. I wasn't sure if I was interested enough to know about this season thing. "Sure."

"Tomorrow." She began, "All the magic user boys are going to have...urges... for any girl they have strong feelings toward. And the next day it will be reversed. Do you understand?"

My mind snapped awake. "What? Oh... Yeah." I said nodding my head. Surely enough, I was still completely confused.

Urges?? What did she mean by that??

Levy's POV

I stared down at my tea, sighing into the reflection I saw, as the steam rose from the cup. Mating Season was going to be my worst nightmare...

No one likes me...do they? I'm not sure at all. All I know for sure, is that when the second day comes, I'm going to be pining for Gajeel, and he's going to push me away.

I think I might take a job that day, far away from Fairy Tail, where I can't embarrass myself with one-sided lust.

I lifted my head up, watching him argue with Natsu, probably about something stupid. I remembered all the weird things I was attracted to him for.

He was a cocky, air- headed bastard, but whenever he tries to protect me, or he gives me advice, my heart can't stop pounding in my chest.

Erza's POV

"Is everyone here?" I asked out loud, to the ladies of Fairy Tail.

They nodded, getting comfortable in Lucy's apartment. She sighed, making second rounds of appetizers in the small kitchen.

"Tomorrow, you will all be in a lot of trouble." I said, booming my voice so that everyone could hear. "Boys can't control their idiotic hormones, so we have to conjure up an escape plan."

Lucy sighed. "Why am I even here? It's not like I'm in danger."

I rolled my eyes. Lucy still doesn't get it. "These are just for precaution, and I can almost guarantee that Natsu won't rest until he finds you. Same with Grey for Juvia, Gajeel for Levy, Romeo for Wendy, Laxus for Mira, Elfman for Evergreen, and Gildarts for Laki."

Laki pretended to throw up, as she sharpened her wooden pitchfork. Lucy cringed at the sight of weapons in her small apartment.

Mira gave me a suspicious smile. "Aren't you forgetting someone?"

I shook my head. "No, did I? I mean, I imagined Alzack and Bisca could take care of themselves, they are marr-"

Juvia laughed, and Lucy beamed. "Your forgetting one thing. Crime Sorciere is in town. Do you know what that means?"

What? When? How did he? My face must have matched the color of my hair by now, and the girls were snickering at my expression. I shook my head and a shiver swept down my spine.

"Okay, okay I get it." I huffed, flashing back to the day where Jellal and I almost kissed.

"A-anyways. We have to hide out until the day is over. I suggest we split into teams. Lucy, Juvia and Levy will hide in the archive center of Fairy Hills, Laki, Wendy and Evergreen will be in the basement of a store on the outside of town, Mira and Lisanna will be in the attic of a random apartment I rented, and I have my own place to go." I told them.

Juvia raised an eyebrow. "Why wouldn't you be in a team?"

"Because I just found out that...he's in town, and I have my own place." I said confidently. Inside, I was filled with strange, useless emotion. Was I blushing?

Mira nodded. "We will all go at 11pm, and won't come back until 1am, 2 days after. Get comfortable, because your going to be there for a while."

Lucy's POV

I gripped the kettle harder, barely feeling the heat in my fingers as much as the heat rising in my heart.

Natsu would come for me?

Hah, no he wouldn't. We're good friends, nothing more. We've been close for years. Any chance for romance now it's pretty much at its end.

For some reason, as I said those words in my head, it made me feel depressed. Did I actually want something to happen?

Juvia's POV

I had to think of something, some excuse to get out of hiding with Levy and Lucy, so I could be with Gray.

This was my one chance I could get at having a steamy time with him and I didn't want to pass this up!

I felt my head almost bursting, imagining Gray's muscle-rich body, stretched over me, with his eyes fixed only on mine, as he leaned closer and closer and closer...

"Juvia!" I heard Erza say.

I snapped out of my thoughts, apologizing, to a concerned Erza. Out of all people, she'd probably go against my plan the most! As I watched her March away, I decided to think of a plan, one to help me obtain my life long fantasy...

Jellal's POV

Ultear smirked, and Meldy wiggled her eyebrows. They both cornered me and I felt as red as the scar looming over my right eye. This was it. Every feeling I've tried to hinder from Erza was going to be torn to shreds because of this Magic Season.

"Y-you didn't tell me we're in Magnolia..." I said, being careful about my anger.

Ultear chuckled, sharing a secretive look with Meldy, clearly enjoying my humiliation. "All we're doing is helping you get your girl! After all, the second day she'll be all over you."

Even though her heart leaned in towards our almost kiss at the beach, I couldn't help but wonder if that was a lie? What if she really didn't love me? How is she going to react when I try to find her tomorrow?

I slammed a fist on the table in frustration. Meldy poured all three of us a rusty glass of beer each. I finished it in what seemed like a millisecond, motioning for more.

"Your going to need it, Fernandez." Ultear snickered. "Tomorrow's going to tire the hell out of you."

I chugged the 2nd bottle and sighed.  Lucky for me, Erza must have had a hide out somewhere, she was more intelligent than anyone ever gave her credit for. Bearing this in mind it was almost absolute that I wouldn't find her tomorrow.  If anything horrible were to happen, I could always just leave again.

But something as frightening as rejection from her wasn't something I wanted to run away from.
