Her mum escorted her to her hostel after buying something for her to eat. Actually, she bought suya  for  her to eat, since she said she was not hungry. When her mum got to her hostel and saw the room, she complained that the room was too small and even the bed, but Noon had to manage because she had no choice. Noon left her phone, plugged charging and escorted her mum downstairs. When they got downstairs, she was talking to her mum, about to bid her good night. Her mum asked her ''Where is your phone?''. Its charging on the bed. Go back to your room. OK mum, good night!.

She ran upstairs and started reading, after she had eaten the suya of course. She had given her phone to that friend, as she wanted to look at her pictures and videos. Noon was feeling sleepy, so she had to collect her phone and set her alarm for five o'clock. Luckily, or should I say unfortunately for her, that friend was sleeping on one of the room-mates bed. She had asked Noon to sleep there, but she said it was too early for her to sleep on someone else's bed, so instead, she decided to sleep on that friends bed. She kept the book she was reading and her phone under her pillow, but that was the greatest mistake she had ever made in her life.

She said her prayers and lay her head on her pillow, falling into a deep slumber. She was not usually a deep sleeper but she was so exhausted from the days troubles. She only wanted to have her rest and wake up early to prepare for school the next day.

At around four a.m that morning, she felt someone pull something from underneath her. Amazed, she sprang up from her bed. She had this strange feeling, but she didn't want to believe it. She raised up her pillow. She saw the book, but alas, her phone was gone. Oh God!, she prayed silently, its not true, she shook her head. She couldn't believe it. Her phone was gone. She checked under the bed, behind the bed, wherever her mind led her to, but her phone was nowhere to be found. She went to where her friend was sleeping, and shook her awake. Did anybody enter the room now?. No, the friend replied, still sleepy. I cannot find my phone. Check everywhere. I have done that, Noon said.

She was already panicking. Lots of things were running through her mind. She just wanted her phone back. Whoever was playing this prank on her should just stop it.Dial my number, she told the friend. Its switched off. Did you switch off your phone?, she asked. No, I did not , Noon replied. That friend was wondering how the phone got lost. Then she looked at the window, and said ''Window Men!''. That statement drew Noon back to reality. What the hell is window men?, she nearly screamed. Hush!, don't wake others up. Your phone has been stolen, she told Noon. At those words, Noon's world came crumbling down.
