December 2nd

"Thank god! I thought you weren't showing up!" I said relieved.

"Ohhh you can't be that happy to see us!" Carly said hugging me.

"Well duh! I only haven't seen you guys since yesterday," I said.

We started walking down to the cafeteria to eat breakfast, talking about what had happened the day before because we have no classes with each other.

"Are you guys going to the game tonight?" I asked.

"I am but James isn't," Carly said.

"I can speak for myself, thanks," said James sarcastically.

I've always loved that about him. I think that's why I became friends with him.

"It's a boys game tonight," I said excitedly.

"I know!" Carly screamed.

We love going to boys basketball games. 3 reasons; boys, boys are more aggressive than girls, and boys.

"So James, you really aren't coming?" I asked.

"No, I'd rather not hear about all the guys you want to bang," he replied.

We all laughed and agreed that'd be for the best.

The day went on and finally, the game came. Carly and I walked in and sat up top about halfway in the middle. We came in halfway during the first game. After that game ended, Carly and I went to the concessions to get something to drink. On our way to the concessions, one of the hot basketball players, Trevor, walked past us and winked at me.

"Did he just?!" Carly said freaking out.

"Keep your voice down! And yes, he did. He just winked at me! What does that mean?" I questioned.

"I have no idea," Carly thought.

"Can we not exaggerate this? I mean, it was just a wink. It's not like he's actually interested in me," I said. She just rolled her eyes at me.

"There he is again!" Carly yelled.

"Shut your face, Carly Elizabeth!" I yelled back.

"Gooo!" she yelled pushing me into him.

"Hey," Trevor said catching me.

"Hey yourself," I replied.

"You alright?" he said laughing.

"Yeah, I'll be fine after I hit her," I replied as he helped me up.

"Feisty, I like it," he said with a smirk. I laughed nervously.

"Well, I better get going," he said.

"Good luck," I told him. He smiled then turned around and walked into the gym.

"Oh. My. God! He actually talked to you!" Carly exclaimed.

"Can we just sit down?" I asked.

She motioned for me to go into the gym. I walked in and right past Trevor. He smiled at me then when Carly and I went up the bleachers, we heard all of his friends tease him for it. I blushed immediately.

"Do you think he likes you?" Carly asked.

"I don't know. I guess it's possible, but why now? Why his senior year?" I asked.

"Have you seen how hot you look right now?" she questioned.

"No but..."

"No but nothing."
