"Woah," he said.
"Yeah, woah," I replied, "I should probably get inside."
"Let me walk you to your door," he said.
"Okay," I replied as we got out and started walking towards my front door.
"Thanks again for tonight, I had a really good time," I said.
"Me too, see you tomorrow. Remember 7, be ready," he replied.
"Yeah, see you then," I said while closing my front door behind me. I opened it right back up to find Trevor still standing there.
"Forget something?" he asked.
"Yeah, I did," I said enclosing the space between us to give him one last kiss for the night, "Goodnight Trevor, text me when you get home, so I know your truck is okay."
"I will most definitely text you. Goodnight Dylan, see you tomorrow," he replied with a huge smile.
Trevor Daniel Madison, don't you go breaking my heart. I closed the door behind me again.
"Mom?!" I yelled looking for her.
"In here!" she yelled from her bedroom.
"I'm getting a ride to school tomorrow," I told her.
"From, Trevor, right? That's his name?"
"Yes. He asked me out tonight, and I said yes."
"Really? So you two are like dating now?"
"Yes mom."
"Wonderful."
"Goodnight mom."
"Goodnight Dylan."
I showered then went down into my room. I sat in my bed, binge watching Netflix all night waiting for his text. I never got one. I decided to call him in the morning, I would have called him that night but I didn't know if he was sleeping, who he was with, or what had happened. Did he forget to text me? Did something happen to him? Was he seeing another girl? Did he get home and go straight to bed? I don't know and I intend on finding out.
