December 10th

"Good morning Beautiful<3 Can't wait to see you at school today. Have a good day(:"

I never thought I'd get lucky enough to wake up to text messages like that. He really does care, and for once, I'm in a good mood for school. The only problem is what to wear. I need to go shopping for clothes. I decided to go with a t-shirt that says 'Always be yourself, Unless you can be Batman, then be Batman.', some jeans, and Nikes. A natural look always looks good right?

I went upstairs to the kitchen and made myself breakfast.

"Where's my daughter and what have you done with her," my mom said jokingly.

"I'm right here and I haven't done anything with her," I reply.

"Is this all for that boy? Do you like him? Does he like you?" she asked.

"No, I dress for myself because I'm not confident enough to walk around with no pants on and it's also illegal. And yes, I like him and he likes me," I replied.

"Mmmmmhmm," she said walking away.

I finish my food and get ready to get on the bus. Once the bus comes, I go outside and get on. I sat next to my friend Tammy.

"Is it true?" Tammy asked.

"Is what true?" I questioned.

"Are you and Trevor a thing?" she asked.

"I don't know. I mean, we're talking yeah," I replied cautiously.

"Oh."

"Yeah."

The rest of the bus ride was boring. Once I got to school, I texted Trevor.

"Has anyone asked you about us?"

"Yeah. I've gotten asked if were a thing and that's it. You?"

"Same. I just said that we're talking and that's it."

"Oh, I said that we are a thing. Just not official yet."

"Official??"

"Yeah, like we're not officially dating yet."

"Yet,(;"

"Yes. Yet. Do you have practice tonight?"

"No, why?"

"I'm picking you up at 6. We're going out to eat. Nothing fancy. You like Mexican right?"

"Whenever I go to Mexican places, I always get nachos."

"Well, get in the mood for nachos because I'm taking you to the new Mexican place in town."

"Sweet. I'll be ready at 6."

"Great. See you at lunch."

"Yeah, you will."

"Hellooo? Earth to Dylan??" Carly was saying.

"Oh, hey guys," I said happily.

"Who were you just texting?" she asked.

"Trevor," I said blushing.

The bell had rung and everyone was on their way to class. I got my books out of my locker and started walking to the gym. When I had gotten to the gym, I went into the girl's locker room and set my stuff down and then changed for gym. So many girls asked me about Trevor and I. I told them what Trevor had told me he was telling people. All the girls wanted to be me. The teacher had blown his little annoying whistle and everyone shut their mouths. The first 5 class periods blew by fast. On my way to lunch, I got really nervous. I felt like the center of attention and I hate being the center of attention. I got my food and sat by Carly and James.
