"Every adventure requires a first step" - Cheshire Cat
I continued to stroll through the forest admiring the beautiful scenery when a boy caught had caught my eye . He had a light complexion that complimented his unruly, onyx black hair. His dark, almond-shaped eyes seemed to illuminate cockiness and mischief and his lips were set into a lopsided grin, giving him a boyish charm. I tried to catch up to him but he was moving at a really fast pace.
By the time I did, I was almost completely out of breath but I managed to spit out the words "Hey would you mind slowing down a bit."
He turned around with a startled look on his face.
"Are you following me, you know some people would think you are a stalker, but you would be a extremely terrible at it."said the boy.
" I assure you that I am not a stalker."
"Okay so are you following me just because of my stunning good looks, or do you want something?" He said with a smirk on his face.
"Well I'm not really following you for either I just wanted to know if I could accompany you on your walk." I said pouting with puppy dog eyes hoping that he would let me go with him.
"Okay fine you can come if you just stop doing that weird thing with your eyes."
"We have a deal then." I couldn't hold back my smile. I was so happy to find someone else like me, I've always wanted a world like this but I would at least like one thing in my life to be normal.
"Follow me we are going to visit the smoking caterpillar because he took something from my poor old mum."
"What did he take from you that's this important to your mom?" I asked
"It was a family air loom that was supposed to be passed down to me for when my mum passes away."
"Oh I see so it's like a necklace or stopwatch?" I questioned.
"Suree something like that." He dragged out his sentence, making me feel a little stupid but also curious as to what it could possibly be.
"I never quite caught your name."
"If you simply must know my name is Clyde and now that I've shared my name it's only fair you tell me yours."
"My name is Acacia."
"That's a beautiful name." He said kindly, while gazing in my direction.
For the rest of the walk we were silent, but not in a awkward way. Actually I was pretty comfortable with Clyde being here. I knew we were almost at our destination because the air was filled with smoke letters of every colour imaginable. I didn't know if I should supposed to be scared or excited. But I made my way toward the caterpillar getting curiouser and curiouser....
Okay so I know it took me long to update but I was working on my other story called true or dark love ( the big five) on my other account CelestialK
You should go check it out. I hope you enjoyed this chapter. I know it was short but I will try and make a longer chapter for you all next time.Xoxo TweedleKara
