Lock and key

Was I actually falling? what on earth is going on? I tried screaming but soon realized no one could hear me . Soon I managed to calm myself down long enough to admire my surroundings and see that there were many beautifully etched objects flying towards me such as lamps and chairs, even a piano.

"I never should have followed that rabbit, I give myself good advice... But I very seldom follow it." I said to myself.

I continued to fall down but at this point my dress lead me slowly down the abyss like place, unrealistically poofing up like an umbrella. The room flashed with beautiful fluorescent colours as I continued to float down. I managed to slide directly through the centre of a small little crevasse and to my surprise the room had turned upside down. Not even a few seconds later I dropped to the ground and knew that a bruise would soon form. When I picked myself up of the floor I was lucky enough to see that the same white rabbit with a waistcoat had ran through a peculiarly small little door.

"Wait." I shouted hoping the rabbit would turn around and cure my urging curiosity.

I tried turning the knob on the door only to have it reply with,

"Excuse me miss but if you hadn't noticed I'm locked." It said while laughing hysterically.

"But you simply must let me go through, I need to follow that rabbit."

"What for my dear."

"I am just curious, as to why he's in such a rush that's all."

"Ahhh curiosity can often lead to trouble, but if you look on top of the table I'm sure you'll find something that can help you."

I turned around just in time to see a table fall on the floor directly In front of me with a bottle that says drink me on it. I took sip after sip of the beverage only to realize that i had shrunk to the size of a thumb.

"Oh my goodness look at how small I am, I can finally fit through." I said with an anxious desire to figure out what the rabbit was up to.

"Hahaha as I told you before I am locked , you simply can't get through without the key." It chuckled

"Oh no, well I don't have the key."

"Well it was on top of the table my dear."

"Why didn't you decide to share this important information, while I was still up there." I said tempestuously

I slowly attempted to climb my way up the table but it was a complete fail seeing as I just fell back down to the floor. Soon after I had noticed that there was a small jar under the table containing cookies labeled eat me and take me. I know shouldn't just eat random food but I had already drank a random liquid so it couldn't get much worse. I lifted the cookie up to my mouth taking a small bite that caused me to grow drastically.

I then  grabbed the key and the drink me bottle and went on my way to find the rabbit. On the other side of the door I had found myself walking down a path toward a bunch of singing sea creatures and animals running around a rock, I decided to just join in. They all seemed so happy running so why the heck not, but by the time I noticed the white rabbit he had already made it to the forest entrance.

In the forest I bumped into some very weird midget people, tweedle dee and tweedle dumb. I had stopped to talk to them for what felt like hours but was only a couple minutes to hear a story but soon after I had grew impatient and went to go find the white rabbit once more.

I walked around the forest for a little while, just to take in my surroundings, theres no use in stressing myself out about this useless rabbit and when I could enjoy my surroundings. Ever since I was a child I had loved the forest, and wished to explore the treasures that lie within. In wonderland the birds I admired everyday, could finally talk to me and the songs they'd sing I could finally understand. Everything in wonderland was exactly the way I had imagined my world would be. There were books with only pictures, songs that weren't always classical and prude and not only that but almost everything was opposite of what it was in the world I knew before. This is exactly where I want to be. Forever.
