As soon as the trial ended I was brought to my room. It wasn't anything spectacular but it was better than a dungeon. Their is no way that I'm going to be assistant to this overgrown brat. She thinks that she's above it all and deserves respect when she has no respect for others. I sort of feel bad for the death of ace of hearts number 20 but it was either my life or his and it probably would've happened anyways after he accidentally slipped up and said something he wasn't supposed too. This job is very risky but I need more time to come up with a way to escape. Not even ten minutes after I arrived in my room, I was graced with the presence of Clyde.

"Wow you actually managed to survive, maybe I underestimated you Acacia." He said smirking.

"I'm surprised you even have the ability to admit you were wrong, maybe I underestimated you Clyde." I mimicked trying to irritate him.

"Why so sassy? What have I ever done to you?" He said obviously trying to do the same.

"Oh I don't know you practically turned me into a thief, led me down a path to this stupid castle and tried to have me killed but I guess that's nothing to mad about, right!" I said sarcastically.

"See you totally understand me, what I do I do out of appreciation for you my love."

"My love, really. When did this happen?" I said annoyed. Maybe before all this happened I would've considered him as a suitor but there's no way my aunt would approve of him now.

"I am only trying to make your dream come true, after all I am a catch."

"It doesn't matter, I have no time to be talking to you as my job is too be serving the queen, I am not a babysitter for her 10 year old boy."

She walked out of the room gracefully looking over her shoulder to find Clyde's eyes glaring back at her. Proving that her job is done and she could check annoying the prince off her list of things to do.

This castle was very confusing and the amount of hallways were endless it took me about an hour to find the queens chambers and I prayed she wouldn't kill me for being late, as it is only my first day. I waltz into the room to find the queen playing crochet inside with a flamingos neck. This was incredibly weird but it is Wonderland after all. I made my presence known by bowing down to the Queen and saying...

"Your majesty." Pointing my toes.

"YOUR LATE. But your entrance was quite graceful so I will let it slide this time my dear. Your main job will be to organize a list of the servants that annoy me so I can remember, who do destroy later. You will occasionally be my foot rest as my feet get tired and must be elevated. Because you are a child and need to be trained a lady, you will eat dinner with the royal family and you will be respectful. You got it."

"Yes, your majesty." I made sure to pronounce the words correctly with a strong voice so she wouldn't find anything to punish me for. This job was going to be the death of me.
