"Actually the best gift you could have given her... Was a life time of adventure."- Lewis Carroll, Alice in wonderland.

Clyde took a sudden stop behind a large spiralled trunked tree, hesitant to move forward in their journey.

"Why'd you stop?" I asked.

" i need you to do something for me, I would do it myself but I think it's better that I just  stay hidden."

" What should I do?"

" Go up to that large caterpillar , do you see that crown on his head i need you to get it for me."

"But if it's your crown, why should I have to go get it?"

"Because I allowed you to come with me and it would be rude to make me walk all the way over there to grab a object you could simply retrieve for me in the matter of minutes."

"But I've never met him, I wouldn't know what to say."

"Please Acacia it would mean the world to me."

"Okay fine but if anything goes wrong it's on you."

I reluctantly made my way toward the dark blue caterpillar scared of what it might say to me. I still had to get used to that fact that insects could talk ,let alone be larger then me but i'd made a promise to Clyde and I've never backed out on a promise.

"Hey Mr.Caterpillar , may I speak to you for a moment?" I said kindly.

" W-H-O -R- U" said the caterpillar. The smoke letters coming from his mouth were in the colours blue, green, and pink was floating swiftly through the air making its way towards my face. I gaged at the smell and I hated when people blew smoke in my face and just because he was a large caterpillar didn't change that. I probably should have been intimidated by his appearance but instead I decided to just put on my game face and blew one of the flying letters back in his direction.

"That is none of your concern, I'm here to collect that crown." I said pointing towards to the shiny gem covered crown that screamed royalty and sat directly on top of its head.

Clyde was peaking from behind a tree and couldn't help but notice how funny I looked when I was mad. He started to laugh and couldn't stop. I could hear the laughter but decided not to acknowledge it, I'll deal with that later.

"To speak with an attitude is not going to help your case, maybe you should think about what you say before allowing those arrogant words to come out of your naive mouth." He said with a smug look on his face making it seem like he was proud of the insult he just came up with on the spot. More and more smoke flew out of his mouth but when he came in close I snatched the crown off of his head and said....

"Well maybe if you weren't so busy being such a pest to humanity, you would notice that a child has just stolen an object directly of your head." She stuck out her tongue mimicking the acts of a 4 year old and ran toward Clyde who was still laughing.

"Here take it." I sloppily threw the crown in his direction, hoping he wouldn't catch it.    "And why must you laugh at me I just did you a favour, you could at least be a tiny bit nicer to me."

"Well thank you my dear." He said as he caught the crown in his hands. " And I couldn't help myself it was just to funny seeing you act mad."

We both continued on our journey laughing and joking around and I couldn't help but wonder what other strange things I would have to take part in... After all anything is possible in wonderland.
