Complete, total, absolute idiot. You wanted to disappear and obscure your very existence. 'You just had to do that? Really?' You dried your eyes with your sleeve and sniffled quietly. You let your guard down, sharing your weaknesses right in front of the most reverenced man. At least, now 20 minutes have passed. It was about training time, though you cringed at the thought of looking right at him, or being in his presence. Granted, Kylo may send one of his little 'slaves' to retrieve you. You slid against the cold wall and stared at the floor. The choice was hard, but you knew better than to cower.

Somehow you had found the strength to stand up and walk out to training. 'Face him, don't be pathetic. You need to be strong! But...I don't want to be dark and cold, not like him.' You shook your head and continued, entering the room you used to train in. Not a soul was in there, it was silent and calm. The sight made you sigh in relief and say into the cold bench. "Thank goodness." You breathed and put your head in your hands, pondering.

'Why is it so hard? Why is there an obstacle at every turn?' Then it hit you, 'Why does he choose the dark, when he belongs to the light?'

The metallic door opened quickly and Kylo walked in calmly. Suprised by the sudden movement, you jumped up and looked away. 'Don't look away! Show you're not afraid.' You moved your head a few inches to where you stared right at him. Trying to look confident, when really you were terrified and embarrassed.

"Nice to see you on time, for once." Kylo uttered beneath the helmet. "Mhm." Nodding nervously, you sat back onto bench beside you. Kylo's saber was now clenched in his gloved fist, "I will try to show you the basics of a lightsaber, hopefully you won't be too ignorant and actually learn something." You clenched your teeth, you despised being called dumb, or stupid. Even back at the Rebel Base, people would call you things such as stupid, it made you furious.

You let it go and just glared, "Yes, Kylo." Your voice trembled in fear and anger. 'Why does he always make me feel so angry, or afraid? But, I sense light inside of him.'

He exhaled softly and once again removed the helmet, revealing his hard features. You shivered at his cold glare, but showed no sign of a reaction.

He placed his helmet down and sat down onto the bench. His gaze shifted from you to the hilt of his saber. Kylo's saber was crude, as if an inexperienced hand crafted it. As if the saber was, him.

He pointed to a few parts, when you noticed two extensions on each side of the saber. "Kylo?" You interrupted. His eyes locked onto you, and he placed the saber down into his lap. "What now?"

You pointed to the extensions. "What are their purpose, I've seen and heard of the description of a saber, but not of one with parts, such as these." Kylo's body shifted slightly, his hazel eyes bore into you.

"My saber is unique in many ways, I made mine with a cracked Kyber crystal. The stressed crystal barely contains the power of the weapon, therefor necessitating lateral plasma vents that become the cross-guard quillons." He looked back at the saber and turned it on. It made a loud humming noise and the jagged red blade reflected against the silver walls.

The lightsaber crackled, obviously unstable and stressed. You looked at Kylo and the saber, seeing how the saber is practically a reflection of Kylo. Unstable.

"Unstable." You whispered to yourself. Kylo turned to you with a questionable look. "What did you say?" You looked up, unaware of what you said out loud.

"The saber, you made it rough and crude, with an unstable appearance. But really, it's symbolic to your personality, your background."

Kylo stiffened at your words, "Who are you, Kylo, and what happened in your past?" You wanted to know him, he isn't as evil as he seems. Who is Kylo Ren?

After a few moments of silence he switched it off, returning it to it's holster. You reached for his arm, but he pushed it away. "Don't touch me." He grabbed the helmet and slid it back on, walking over to the door and exiting, leaving you alone with your thoughts.
