"Marinette." I hear Adrien breathe.
He hasn't let go of my hands, although both of us have sweaty palms. If anything, he has gripped my hands tighter.
I smile, laughing sadly, tears streaking down my cheeks.
"Hi, Adrien."
I look down at Tikki resting next to me, looking at Adrien with surprise. Then she is looking at a little black cat nuzzled on Adrien's shoulder.
"I... I can't believe you're Ladybug. Alya..." He stutters.
But then he looks into my eyes with so much love that I start crying again.
"I... I don't know what to say. I'm.." He laughs, wiping a tear from my face.
"I'm so happy."

•One Week Later•

I'm sitting in my chair at my computer when I get a text message.

Meet me upstairs.

From an anonymous person... But I know who it is.
I smile to myself, and get up from my comfortable chair, Tikki staying behind, sleeping on my pillow.
I quickly walk up the stair case, and open the trap door, blinking in the bright and blinding sunlight.
I walk the rest of the way up the stairs, and I'm standing on my balcony, over looking the beautiful area of Paris, France.
"Hey there, m'lady." A voice says from behind me, making me smile.
"Kitty cat." I purr back, turning around.
I look into the eyes of Chat Noir, the secret identity of my boyfriend, Adrien Agreste, and I smile.
He reaches down, and clasps his hands around my waist, and leans down.
I stand up on my tippy toes, and meet his lips, both of us smiling.

And of course... We lived happily ever after...

...Until the next Akuma, that is.

Oh... Wow.

I finished it.

That wasn't how I thought it was going to end at all.

Ya know when writers say that the story just writes itself? I never understood that until this story.

This story took me in turns I never thought I would write.

I'm so proud of this story, and I really hope that you liked it. It's probably the first story I have ever finished, and I'm so glad I did, but that of course, is thanks to you.

My lovely readers, my lurverly commenters, and of course the many loverly voters.

If it wasn't due to your support I probably wouldn't have finished this the way I did, and I probably wouldn't have finished it at all.

Hopefully this story still gets reads months from now, and it'll be because of all of you.
