After History was over, I expected Adrien to hang out with Nino, but he stayed around with me.
We were not talking about superheroes, nor the project we hastily finished, but rather our favorite foods.
He kept mentioning how much he loved Nutella filled crépes, and finally, I invited him over to my parents bakery, where my dad makes the best crépes, whether or not they were Nutella filled, but Adrien declined, saying maybe another time, because his 'Father was requesting his presence.'
As I walk into my parent's bakery, the scent of Nutella filled crépes float into my nose, and I sigh, slumping into a chair.
Immediately, my phone starts ringing.
Alya.
"Hey, girl! Where are you?"
"Hoome." I sigh, letting the 'O' sound linger.
"Well, why aren't you with me... Spreading all the juicy gossip about you and Adrien?"
I smile a bit. Alya could always cheer me up... And so could Adrien...
"Haha, I'm a bit tired right now." I say, "Maybe later? I have to process all that happened otherwise I'll explode." I giggle.
"Okay, that's it, I'm coming over, whether you like it or not." I can practically hear the smile in her voice.
"I was counting on it! See you soon!"
The familiar sound of a phone call ending beep was mixed with a text ding.
"Hm?" I mutter, opening up my messages.
Alya couldn't have just texted me after hanging up the phone... I wonder who it could be...
As the text app fills up my phone's screen, I nearly faint from excitement. Adrien. My mind sighs... Wait, that wasn't my mind!
"Oh, Tikki! I almost forgot about you!"
"You almost forgot about me? Hah, that's funny, Marinette!"
"Um... Anyways, hear the good news? Or rather... See it? Look! It's Adrien! He texted me!!" I squeal, "I'm going to explode. Today has been... Miraculous!"
"A text from Adrien?" She glances down at my phone, reading the words on the screen.

Hey Marinette! It's Adrien. I had a great time today, and I was wondering when we could get some crépes? My schedule is clear this week, and my stomach is rumbling!

My cheeks burn almost as red as Tikki's skin.
"He had... A good... Time!" I glance at Tikki, then squeal. "Ah, Tikki! This is a beautiful day with no super villains! I'm sure my happiness right now could cleanse all the Akuma's in the world, and stop them from possessing anymore people!"
"Well you seem a bit excited that Adrien texted you..."
Then, a knock on the door.
"Tikki! Hide!" I whisper, opening my small coin purse.
"Knock, knock. Guess who?" Alya says through the door.
I open the door just as she is about to knock again, and hits me in the face.
"Oh! Marinette, I didn't see you there! Are you all right?"
"Yeah." I say, rubbing my head.
"Good, cause I don't want to have to wait any longer to hear the new scoop on Adrien. I could practically hear you yelling from my house!" She laughs as my face turns red.
"What's up?"
"Adrien texted me!" I grin.
"Lemme see, girl!"
I hand her my phone, and her eyes whiz down the text message, reading it in under a second.
Her mouth drops open, and I resist the urge to close it, as a joke.
"What kinda magic did you pull on that kid? All of a sudden, you're miss Social Butterfly!" She laughs.
I shudder, "Oh, don't refer to me as a butterfly..."
"Okay... Miss... Social Ladybug! Haha, is that better?"
My eyes widen. "Sure." I say, my eye twitching.
She looks at me, her eyebrow raised, and then returns to looking at the phone.
"So... What are you going to say to him?"
"Well... I guess I'd have to work it out with my parents..." I say, grasping my chin, "Ya know, prepare and stuff. That'll take some time. Then we have to notify Adrien. He'll have to see if it's a good night, that'll take time to sift through his schedule, because he's a model, and they're just so busy. And then we would have to... Explain to my parents that he's just a friend and not to make things awkward, and Alya... What if you came too, and I told him he could invite Nino...-"
"Marinette! You're overthinking this. And you don't have to invite me and Nino, that'll be weird. It's your night with Adrien. Just text him that you would love to have him over for crépes, and that you'll have to see what night works best. No need for worrying. See? It's all fine."
I sigh, my shoulders slumping. "I do have a tendency to overthink, huh?" I smile.
Then I grab the phone, and text Adrien.
