We land in the park, but no one was around.
"Well..." Chat Noir straightens up, "This wasn't part of the plan."
"Where could he be?" I ask no one in particular, craning my neck to see a large crowd, or something that would indicate where Sir Snot-a-lot was. Some gleaming metal of his knight costume, a sneeze, a hypnotizing voice, or a large crowds of people?
It felt like I was playing I spy.
"I spy with my green eyes..." Chat Noir purrs, "A sneezing Akuma."
I frown, "That's not how the game works. Didn't you go on road trips or something?"
Chat Noir looks at me in a pout. "My father neglects me unless it has something to do with my career." He brushed away a fake tear, and then smiled at me.
"Well, my family can bring you on a road trip sometime. Maybe to Britain or someplace cool."
"Yeah, but that's implying that we'd know each other's identity." He smirks at me, crossing his arms as I he has cornered me.
I just smile a bit, and then turn away to face the road.
"Okay." I say, assessing our situation. "What did he say about his play?"
Chat snickered. "That rhymed."
I roll my eyes at him and continue on, "Did he mention where it was?"
"There was a play at my school on Bastille day... Maybe it was that one? I was too sick to go."
"Oh yeah! My school too." I murmur. "Let's go check that out. He's probably attempting a One Man Show of Sir Dance-a-lot and the Quest for the Cha Cha Cha."
"That ones a classic." Chat sighs. "Okay, let's go!"
We sprint towards out school, and I can't help but think... Our school.
That must mean me and Chat Noir are school mates!?
That's disturbing.
I shake my thoughts from my head and continue running, following behind Chat closely.
"So..." He pants, brushing his hair back from his face. "We got to the same school." He attempts a smile, but is too tired, an it looks like a grimace.
"That doesn't mean we'll be finding out each others identities soon..." I yell back at him, the wind blowing our words away.
"Oh, c'mon!" He smiles, "How could you... How cool you resist this?" He says, gesturing down at himself, just as he trips over a root and falls, rolling a bit before stopping fully.
"Yeah." I say, panting and grabbing my knees. "How could I?"
I reach for him, and our hands clasping each other's, and I haul him up.
"Still not over the.. The injury." He pants.
Oh! I think surprised. I totally forgot he was injured. Here I was making him run.
"I'm sorry." I murmur, chuckling a bit, "I forgot you were hurt..."
His eyes squint in a confused manner, and he straightens up.
"Yeah well... I didn't." He motions for me to come to him, and he drapes his arm around my shoulder, "C'mon we're wasting time. It's not going to be any faster with a hobble."
I grunt as he leans on me, and we start our slow, speed walking journey to the school.
"Wow." He pants, "I never realized how far away the school was... I never have to walk."
"Really? I do." I murmur, panting. Chat Noir was heavy.
"There it is." He points, glaring at the far away school.
"Mmhm." I grunt, continuing to shuffle along.
Chat Noir begins to hop faster.
"We should... We don't want anyone to get hurt or anything. Let's hurry up."
"Mmhm." I repeat.
He glances at me, frowning, but I barely pay attention. I was focusing on my breathing, and my sweaty bangs plastered to my forehead.
When he didn't look away, I glanced up at him, and he smiled.
It wasn't one of his cheeky grins, or one of his sarcastic smiles. No, it was a genuine smile, meant to lift my spirits.
My eyes widened, and I blushed, smiling weakly back at him.
"Almost there." He reassured me, taking some of his weight off of me.
Once we reached the school steps, Chat broke away, and limped along, reminding me of something.. Though I couldn't place what.
"C'mon slow poke! He's probably turned those people into crazy theatre nuts by now!" He teases me, as I jog after him.
We open the doors into the theatre's lobby, and keep walking, looking for the doors to enter into the theatre.
We reach the theatre doors simultaneously, and Chat glances at me, then pushes the door open.
Once the doors are open, we have a clear view of the entire theatre, including Sir Snot-a-lot glancing up at me.
He broke out into a creepy grin, opposite the one Chat gave me just moments before.
"You know, I got an immense sense of déjà vuh!" He looked at Chat Noir, "Haven't we already practiced this scene?"
"Chat likes to improvise." I grin right back, then wink at Chat, "This time lets play by the script."Okay, first of all, sorry I haven't posted in a while, and then second, GUESS HOW MANY VIEWS WE HAVE GUYS?!?!?!!?!!!
