"Chat," I whisper tentatively, cradling his head in my arms.
He was still breathing, but his forehead had a deep scrape that was bleeding. Hopefully he didn't have a concussion.
The Baconater had kicked Chat about half a block down the road, and Chat had fallen hard, with nothing to catch him. Luckily, he hadn't fallen on his head, but it seemed his arm was broken.
He grunted a bit, and I looked into his eyes. His Miraculous must be wearing off, especially after his use of his Cataclysm.
"Chat, please... You need to wake up!"
He grunted again, and shifted, but then his face contorted again.
He opened his eyes a bit, and smiled weakly.
"I must be in heaven, because no mere mortal could have such a beautiful face."
Red filled my face, just as his Miraculous beeped.
"Chat, I need to get you out of here... Do you think you can walk?"
A shaky breath left his mouth as he scrunched up his brow, and sat up. Tears streaked his mask, and his face was pure agony. He almost hit his hard onto the concrete, but I held my hands behind his back, catching him.
"C'mon, hop onto my back, I'll drop you off on a roof or something. Then I'll call the ambulance."
I squatted down next to him, and turned my back to him. His hand grabbed my shoulder, and I saw that it was not covered in black.
"My Lady," another shaky breath, "it appears I have turned into my civilian form. Would you care to not look at me?"
"I-I... Yeah, c'mon, just hop onto my back. I can drop you off at the hospital."
I hoist him up, so his hands are around my neck, and I see a sliver of a white t-shirt. It would be so easy to...
No, Marinette. It's his right to have a secret identity. Besides, I'm the one who is so extreme about not revealing our secret identities.
"Okay, you holding on?"
"Mmhmm." He grunts.
I start shuffling towards a pay phone next to the Tower, holding onto his tanned hands.
It would be nice to finally know... I admit to myself.
Stop Marinette! Focus! He's severely hurt!
I start shuffling faster, and my hand reaches the pay phone.
"Lucky Charm." I grunt, tossing my yoyo a couple feet into the air. It didn't even reach the full length of the string, but a coin still appeared in my hand.
I stick it into the slot, and dial an ambulance.
"Hello? Help! Please, there's a... Guy who needs help! We're just next to the Eiffel Tower, right near where The Baconater was... Yes, it's severe... Okay, thank you-"
"Ladybug, go, you're about to change back... I'm fine."
I keep my eyes up towards the sky as I rest the boy against the pay phone.
My Lucky Charm coined rolled into the change slot, and I grabbed it out, and threw it into the air, saying my catch phrase non-enthusiastically, still worried for Chat.
"I'll... Uh see you later. I'm sorry I couldn't help more."
"Go!" He shouts, weakly pushing my calf, just as my Miraculous beeps, slowly loosing power.
I don't turn around as I sprint from sight, running towards the other side of the Eiffel Tower, transforming just as my back hits metal.
I sigh, and slump down onto my bum.
I could run over to Chat right now, and see who he is. He wouldn't know it was me. I would know who he was.
"I'm sorry Marinette." Tikki sighs, slumping into where my neck met my shoulder.
"It's okay."

Authors Note

Hi!! Okay, so I was researching payphones in Paris, and found out that they don't accept coins!! Ya know what they do accept? Pre-paid payphone card thingermajigs! What? How is Ladybug supposed to do her Lucky Charm and basically steeeaaaal a pre-paid payphone card.
Yeah, so I'm gonna stick with this payphone accepting coins.

Also, thank you so much for the most views I have gotten on a story, and the most votes!!
