*Chris
•A few days later
"Chris, I don't know if you can hear me but they told us to talk to you..so that's what I'm doing." I heard someone say, but I knew the voice very well. London.
"I never got to ask you before...you know I left, where did you go to college? Did you go? I know you always loved painting and art." I heard the smile in her voice. I tried moving my fingers, but I couldn't, I couldn't even open my eyes.
"I...I remember when you would wake me up late to go tag buildings with you. I use to be so scared." She laughed, I remembered those moments just as much as she did.
"You would tell me to man up, because I had way too much mouth to be scared!" She laughed again
"I remember just sitting around chilling on my front steps with the crew...I sometimes lowkey miss those moments. The moments when I didn't have much to worry about. But now I do, I have Morgan to worry about. And although you hurt me bad I forgive. I think it's time we both grow up, we both act like adults for the shake of our kids. Seeing you in a hospital bed is not what I planned, but it happened and we need to all grow from this. I hope when you wake up, you realize how much love you have around you." She stopped talking, sobs soon followed "You need to know that Tae, she was here for you everyday with Mimi. She loves you Chris. Give her a chance. Uh what else?" She giggled but I knew she was crying
"Uh well I'm pretty sure you heard, but I want you to hear it from my mouth...I'm pregnant. About 7 weeks and uh it's killing me." She laughed making me smile a little.
"Hopefully it's a boy." She said more to her self, that kinda made me feel some type of way, because I wanted a boy.
"And Nip, Nipsey really likes you believe it or not, but he does. I don't what it is, you not all that to me." She laughed at her own joke making me smile even bigger
"But I feel like I'm rambling, I need you to do me a favor. I need you to get up, get up for your kids, and Tae, mama, Mijo, ty, and me....we need you....I need you." She said before a long silence fell shortly after it.
"I don't hate you, I could never hate you. Please wake up." She said lowly before kissing my forehead soon after a door closed and I was left to think about everything I did wrong..and what are the correct steps to take to become a better man...a changed man.
*London
Closing Chris hospital door slowly wiping my tears I pulled my sweater up on my shoulders more. I came to see Chris to see if he was doing any better...but he has yet to show any improvement, I doubt he heard anything I said in there. I checked out and made my way to my car. When I got home I entered the code to the gate pulling into the drive way. I parked unlocking the door.
"MOMMY!" Morgan yelled, she's been talking more...and she seems the most effected by Chris not being around more than anything. I think she knows what's going on. She ask for him all the time.
"He okay?" She walked over to me. she think she a big shot because she can take 5 steps without falling.
"Who?" I bent down scooping her up
"Dada." She replied like I was dumb
"He's gonna be okay." I pressed her head of curly hair to my chest.
"Where nip nip at?" I asked
"He run from me." She picked her head up
"He run from you?" I asked
"I got rawr when I see him." She put her hands up copying a monster making my hear smile.
"Why you go rawr?" I asked as I carried her up the stairs picking up Nip shoes and P's doll off the steps.
"Because I monster M!" She yelled soon giggling
"Why you a monster?" I laughed
"Bewas dada said me a monster M, bewas I scwared him time n time 'gain" she explained only making it 10 times funnier
"Aw that's not nice monster M" I laughed kicking my bedroom door open only to see no nip, he was hiding pretty well
"Me not nice momma!" She said as I placed her on the floor
"Why not." I put my hands on my hips
"Bewas I take care of the baby!" She pointed at my stomach
"You trying to protect you sister or brother?" I asked as I seen Nip sneak up behind her
"Uh huh." She nodded her head with her curls flopping around
"RAWR!" Nip yelled making her yell high pitch he grabbed her by her sides having her in the air as she yelled, and laugh
"You not 'pose to scware me!" She said once he hiked her on his hip
"I'm sorry Monster M!" He attacked her with kisses
"I forgive you! Luv you nip nip." She grabbed both sides of his face giving him a big kiss
"I love you too M!" He smiled, he was turning red.
"Aw is daddy blushing?" I joked
"I'm daddy tonight?" He raised an eye brow
"Only if you want to be." I winked
"I'ma hold you to that ma." He winked in return
"How was Chris holding up?" He asked
He told me everything that happened with game, and to be honest I was glad my thug handled that.
"He still hasn't woke up, but I have hope." I smiled
"Me too." He leaned in to kiss me
"Meeee twooooo!" Morgan broke our kiss
"Do you even know what we talking bout little girl." I asked
"ME!" She pointed at herself
She's Chris child for sure, thinking everything about her!
"We weren't talking about your bad butt." I joked
"Nip nip momma be mean." She pointed at me
"Stop being mean!" Nip softly pushed me
"Tell her 'gain" she poked her little lips out
"Don't be mean bad mommy." Nip slapped my butt
"Yeah momma!" Morgan climbed down out his hands and tried slapping my butt but hit the back of my thigh
"Ouch!" I pretended that it hurt
"You not be mean for dah baby!" She pointed her voice was so high pitched it was too funny.
"Okay okay I'm Sowwy monster M" I poked out my bottom lip. By now nip was in tears
"Now go bed!" She pointed to my bed
"But I'm not sleepy!" I acted as if I was gonna cry
"Not tell you 'gain!" She put her hands on her hips
"Okay." I walked to my bed
"Come on nip nip." She said with her mean face on
"Where we going monster M?" He asked
"Down the stairs, we leave momma here by her self she been a very bad mommy!" She said still with her hands on her hips
"Okay." He laughed taking her hand
"I wanna go!" I pouted from my bed
"No got sleep, but I luv you." She said walking out leaving nip and I to look at each other before bust out laughing
"Come on nip nip" she yelled at the top of the steps.
"Sorry babe, I gotta leave you in here." He laughed hitting the lights.
My life was almost back to normal.
