It was Friday, Ariana had still not gone to school, so Melanie decided to pay her a visit after school.

In the meanwhile, Melanie, Allison and Kristen were talking near the lockers, before they all left to their different classes.

"Kristen! What the heck?" Allison said in shock, "I can't believe you once liked Cody."

Kristen blushed, "I was infatuated by the fact that he had saved me from my cheater ex-boyfriend, which I now hate." "I know you hate him, I mean, me too," Melanie said, letting out a chuckle afterwards.

The bell rang and they separated to their different classes, during class, Cody took out his phone because he had received a text message. Thinking it was from Melanie, he immediately got his phone out and unlocked it, excited to read whatever his girlfriend had sent him. But, it was not from her, it was an unknown number.

#: Be careful with your girlfriend, she's not to be trusted.

Confused, he took a screenshot and sent it to Melanie. As Melanie received it and read what it said, she also got confused.

M: What the heck is that suppose to mean?

C: I don't know, that's so weird and like... Creepy

M: Maybe they sent it by error

C: Yeah, maybe, well, ttyl

M: Kk, bye

The hours passed by, and it was lunch time, again everyone gathered at the table, except for Ariana and Drew. Drew had gone on a trip with his mom, to visit his dad somewhere else in the country, and well, Ariana's foot was not doing any better.

"Babe," Cody said, Melanie's heart fluttering, still not used to the sound of the word. "Yeah?" She said, "If the message was not sent by error, who do you think could have sent such a weird text message?" Cody asked, still having goose-bumps from such a creepy text message.

Melanie shrugged, "I don't know, but I really think it was sent by error."

From then on, they did not pay attention to it, and continued on with their lives.

School had just finished, the students left the building with smiles on their faces, since it was Friday and they couldn't wait to get drunk on the weekend, go to parties, watch movies and all the typical stuff teenagers do when the weekend starts to roll over.

"I'll visit Ariana, so text me if you want to do anything tomorrow," Melanie said, giving Cody a small peck on his cheek before walking over to her car.

She drove towards her house first, leaving her backpack on her bed and changing into a more comfortable outfit, leggings and a hoodie.

Then, she walked downstairs with her phone on one hand and as she passed by the kitchen, she left a note for her mom.

"Mom, I'll be at Ariana's house, call me if you need anything.
Love, Melanie <3"

The green apples held in the fruit basket looked delicious, so she grabbed one and ate it during her driving trip to Ariana's house.

Ding-dong.

The doorbell was loud enough for Melanie to hear it from outside. The house was the same size as hers, practically because most of them were like that.

"Hey, Melanie!" Ariana greeted, a little too excited to see her friend. "Hey, I came to see how you were doing," Melanie said, smiling.
