As Cody was walking to school, on Monday morning, he remembered his phone call with Allison. He was now nervous of entering school, mostly because it was for sure Melanie was going to be there and she was going to talk to him.

"What if I mess up?" He thought.

"You won't." A girl's voice said to him. Did he thought of that, too? "Stop thinking out loud, dumbass." He turned around to see Allison behind him. They both laughed.

"Don't worry, it's just another day," Allison said, trying to encourage him, "I get nervous around her no matter what, though!" "Okay, first of all, don't scream," "Sorry." "Second, chill, be yourself, nothing bad is going to happen." "Okay," said Cody sighing and nodding.

"Okay," Allison smiled, "Lets go!" She said and pushed him into school.

They walked to their lockers, Melanie's locker was in the middle of their lockers, so it was kind of impossible to avoid talking to her, without her asking why.

"Hey," Melanie said to Cody, smiling. "Hi Me-Melanie," he responded, trying not to stutter, but failing completely. He mentally face-palmed himself. She smiled and turned to Allison.

"Are we going to have the sleepover tonight?" She asked, "No, sorry, I have other plans. What about, tomorrow?" Allison asked, trying to avoid telling what her plans were.

"Sure, I'll go to to your house after school," "Okay, well, I'll see you two at lunch." Allison said before walking to her first class, Math.

"Okay," Cody and Melanie responded in unison. Allison giggled and mumbled something, "What did she say?" Melanie asked, Cody shrugged before saying, "I don't know."

He heard Allison, clearly, but he wasn't going to tell Melanie about it, it was too embarrasing.
"#Melody," was what Allison mumbled, which was Cody and Melanie's ship name. He knew about it since Allison told him, but he wasn't going to explain that to her.

"Well, I'll see you later, got to run," Melanie said, grabbing her History book and waving goodbye.

Cody waved goodbye, smiling, like a fool. He grabbed his Math book and started walking. See, he had Math as well, but Allison had Advanced Math. They both always got good grades, but when it came to Math, Allison was the one.

Cody was sitting in Math class, writing on his private notebook. All his dark side written on it. When he started writing, he was a whole new person, a bad one, sadly. This time, he wrote about love, but with a twist.

Normally, people would write about it like something beautiful and well, lovely.

He wrote about it like something depressing or wrongful.

He like and didn't like being in love, it was an amazing, but painful feeling. He wanted to call Melanie his, but couldn't because he was afraid. Afraid of loosing her, as a friend, as a girl, as the lovely human being she was.

He wasn't going to risk such thing.

He was so into writing, that he didn't pay attention when the bell rang. His friend, Tyler, had to hit his head so he would notice everyone was leaving to their next classes.

Cody grabbed all his stuff, thanked Tyler and went rushing to his next class, Art. Now, it appears it has no sense to rush to Art Class. But, actually, for him, it did. Melanie had the same class, at the same time, Allison as well, but you know, Melanie.

He walked inside the classroom right on time. He sat at the only place available, beside—well, this is funny—Melanie.

"Class, today you are going to draw someone. It could be a celebrity, a friend, anyone, but it has to be human." Mrs. Brown said. "You may start," she clapped and sat on her desk chair.

Melanie liked drawing, but she did not put her ability in practice. In the other side, Allison always did.

Cody started drawing since he was little. He liked focusing on something and working on it until it was done.

Melanie drew a boy, Cody drew a girl—which started as Melanie, but he couldn't reflect her beauty on a piece of paper.

Allison drew a boy, the one she liked, Drew—she drew, Drew.

An hour passed and the bell rang, most of them didn't finish, except for Cody, Allison and Drew.

Everyone got out of the class, with their drawings on their hands.

On the lockers, Allison quickly threw her drawing at the back, trying to cover it from her friends.

"Who did you draw?" Melanie asked her, "Oh, uh, well, you know, I tried drawing, uh, Zac Efron..." Allison was trying to keep her liking towards Drew as a secret.

"Oh My God! May I see it?" "No, sorry, I have to fix some, uh, aspects." "Awe, okay. Well, when you finish, would you show it to me?" "Sure."

They met later, at lunch, discussed their Chemistry homework, talked about life, and Allison said #Melody like five thousand times, according to Cody.
