I texted Jack
*are we still hanging out tonight?* he responded right away
*yes meet me at my house in 20 minutes?* I left right away. Once I got to his house I was scared to knock on the door, but I did and instead of going inside I asked to talk outside.
•Jack POV•
I knew when she didn't want to talk inside that she was gonna say something bad, I was scared cause I really like her. As we sat down on the bench she told me about how she dated Dylan and that she didn't love him in that way so they had a mutual break up, at least she thought they did. Then she told me about him kissing her and how she kind of liked it. I didn't know how to respond
"Did you just like the kiss or do you like him too?"
"I think I just liked the kiss because the minute I thought about you I let go of this kiss and backed away from him, I really like you. Do you believe me?"
"I believe that you like me but I don't know if I believe that you don't like him"
"How can I prove it to you?"
"You don't need to prove it to me, you need to prove it to yourself and once you figure out who you want to be with I'll be here waiting for you"
•Bella's POV•
Jack was right I needed to figure out how I feel about Dylan before I could move on with him. I texted Dylan
*meet me at my house in 20 minutes* I hugged Jack goodbye and headed to my house. When I got there Dylan was sitting on my porch steps waiting for me.
"Hey Dylan"
"Hey Bella, what did you want to talk to me about?"
"So I talked to Jack and he wants me to figure out my feelings towards you first"
"So have you figured out how you feel towards me yet?"
"Yes I have and I've know how I've felt towards you for a long time now, you are one of my best friends and nothing more than that."
"But what about that kiss?"
"That kiss we shared felt like the kiss I shared with Jack and I was just in the moment it wasn't because I like you in that way"
"Well that's not what I wanted to hear but I'm happy for you and that you have found someone you really like"
"Thank You Dylan, I hope you find someone too" he hugged me and left.
