I wipe away the few stray tears that remained on my face. I grab the box of tissues from the table beside the couch, and wipe my face.
That film gets me every time.
"Stop crying already," Brody says, exasperation evident in his voice. I look at him with an incredulous expression.
The Notebook. Who doesn't cry at the Notebook?
"But it's so emotional", I bite my bottom lip, trying to hold back the tears. Brody groans loudly as he grabs a cushion from my couch, and shoves his face into it.
"Please, stop," he says.
No. He begs.
"You evil heartless creature! Who doesn't cry at The Notebook?"
I throw the box of tissues at him; hitting him square in the face.
"Ow!" Brody whines.
"Fine! I'm sorry. I'll cry next time!" I smile slyly.
"Good."
Brody shakes his head, while muttering under his breath, "Creepy ass banana twank."
I grab the remote and throw it right at his head. Brody winces in pain as he rubs the back of his head.
"What did you say?" I question, a little too sweetly.
"Nothing," I nod approvingly at him.
"That's what I thought."
Natasha: One
Brody: None"So..........." Brody trails away, not knowing what to say.
"So......" I imitate.
"What do we do now?" I look towards Brody, whilst thinking of ways to have fun. There is a comfortable silence for a few minutes. Then, suddenly, Brody's face lights up, and he smiles widely.
"I know! I know!" He starts jumping up and down like a maniac.
Ok then.
"Get up, and get prepared." He commands. I stand up carefully, my knees buckling, causing my legs to wobble.
Yeah, you shouldn't sit down for too long.
"But where are we going?" I frown; thinking of all the possible destinations.
Brody's lip twitches; his mouth curling up into a devilish smirk.
"That's for me to know, and you to find out."
I stomp my foot like a four year old. "Tell meeeee!" I whine childishly. At this, Brody's smirk just gets even more devilish.
"Nope," he says, popping the p.
"Pleaseeee," I beg. But he just shakes his head; a mischievous glint in his eyes.
"Not happening," he sings.
He ain't gonna budge.
Suddenly, I am hit with a genius idea. I mentally slap myself. Why hadn't I thought of this before?
"Not even for a box of Matchmakers. Mint flavor?" I grin widely, knowing that he would break at any given minute. Brody's smirk drops, but it only lasts a second, before it reappears; gracing me with it's presence.
That sexy, sexy smirk.
And it doesn't help now that I like him.
"No, not this time, munchkin," Brody says victoriously. My mouth drops open; my eyes widening.
