Roman Reigns sighed, as he grabbed his stuff to go home after another long, tiring shift at work. He worked at the hospital as a nurse with his best friend...brother and roomate Seth Rollins; who was also a nurse.

Roman hadn't gotten much sleep in the past four weeks; just enough to do his job without hurting anyone, and it was all because of one man. His name Dean Ambrose and it was his secret life that caused Roman's sleepless nights. Dean wasn't married or cheating on Roman, no that was something Roman would know how to deal with. Dean's secret was...he's a centuries old vampire! Roman didn't believe him at first, what sane person would? It was only after Dean proved it to him that Roman believed him; it didn't bother Roman though, they loved each other! Their love though put Dean's life in danger! Being a vampire, Roman learned came with a very strict set of rules handed down by the very first vamps. The biggest and most important rule was that no vamp was to fall in love with any mortal; if they did it resulted in instant death!

Being who he is Dean didn't like following any rules; vamp or mortal, and when the elders found out about their love Dean refused to give Roman up! He was sentenced to death, but escaped, staying on the run from Vampire Bounty Hunters; sneaking to see Roman whenever he could. Months ago after being injured in an ambush by Hunters, Dean had gone to Roman for help, but instead found Seth; who knew nothing about Dean. They talked and Seth nursed him back to health, they became like brothers and once he was healthy Dean left again; sneaking to see them both whenever he could.

Then four weeks ago Dean told them how he had discovered a secret that the elders had been keeping from the other vamps. The secret spoke of one vamp who was the only one who could kill the elders; including their powerful leader Vassago, a vamp they called The Chosen One! That vamp was Dean and he planned on killing the elders, so he could be free to live a normal life with Roman and Seth. Both tried to talk him out of it, but he refused and had left while Roman and Seth slept. Neither knew if he was alive, he had no contact with either of them and both were scared; especially Roman.

"You ready to go big man?" Seth asked coming into the room.

"Yeah." Roman answered sighing.

"Thinking about D again?" Seth asked gently.

"He's all I ever think about. He's been gone too damn long Seth, what...what if they caught him? What if they've hurt him, or..." Roman trailed off unable to think about Dean being dead let alone say it, Seth hugged him.

"He's too smart to get caught! This is Dean we're talking about, the only vamp strong enough to take out Vassago and the other elders!"

"I know, I just can't shake this bad feeling though!" Roman replied.

"Come on, let's go home." Seth suggested, once the hug ended.

**Meanwhile With Dean**:

The streets were busy; even at 11:30 at night, as Dean made his way past people. As he made his way down the street he received the occasional weird look whenever he'd stumble a little, or bump into someone. He held his jacket closed, so no one would be able to see his injury; an injury that felt like nothing he's ever felt before!

As he made his way through the streets his mind replayed everything that had happened the past few weeks. After leaving Roman and Seth, he had spent his time tracking down vamps he knew could give him the information he needed. Once he found them, he'd take them and torture them, until they gave him what he needed, before he killed them. Tonight he had been so close to finally having all he needed after tracking down another vamp named Cass. Before he could take her, he was surrounded by four Bounty Hunters, confused how they were able to sneak up on him he asked. Cass then told him that Vassago and the elders had started using an Ancient magic that their kind hasn't used in centuries, to not only cloak the Hunters, but to also give them special weapons guaranteed to stop him!
