Finding The Truth

I brake away from Than and go after him, don't ask me why.

"Yo would you stop!" I call out when he speeds up and he whips around.

"Go screw yourself and leave me alone Nokomis"

"You gift is reading people, meaning you can tell if we lie or not right?" He nods not facing me. "Then look at me Alacer and tell me if I'm lying when I say I have no idea why your so mad. S BIut it's bugs me and I don't know why that is either."

"You shine when you talk to four people. Where or I guess are you aware of this? It bothers me that you shine brightest with Than."

"I've also known him the longest."

"You know who's next? Aiden then Soterios."

"Aiden?"

"Yes ma'am Aiden."

"Da fug?"

"Know who number four is?"

"A crazy moody pain in my arse who is about as talented as I am but probably can't fight?"

"I....umm.... Yeah."

"You can't judge me by my shine or face half the time either, Than has the same gift which means I've trained to go against it if I must." I finish this with a shrug of my shoulders.

"You can't hide from me..."

"Why are you angry? Why does any of this bother you?"

"I have no idea what so ever." He pauses and looks at me, "you don't love him in case you've been wondering your close but not there..." And he leaves me standing there.

"Stupid moody mother effing..."

"He can read you, don't be angry child."

"Lucius?"

"He knows most people's secrets and its hard on him." I turn and face him.

"He still sucks..."

"That may be true but you need to cut him some slack."

"Screw that." And once more I run away but this time I have a destination in mind...

"What did you mean I was lost?" I ask Aiden

"You have dreams, and are going through a new mission type thing" he blushes unsure. "Um pretty much your life just went to hell and now you have to rebuild your world and you don't know how..." He bites his lip.

"You read people too but in a different way ayy?"

"I read emotions and I have other gifts too..."

"Don't take his wrong but how'd you turn dark, you were dark before Than killed both of your mentors?"

"We'll you see um" pausing he try's to create his story and I smile as he bites his lip. "One night I was out on an adventure, as a little kid I loved wondering but it all stopped that night. Unlike most angels I've killed a human. It was horrible what he was doing to that girl, my word." Oh! "When I saw her pain something twisted in me and I attacked him. The girl was so scared when I went to help her up off the floor that I ran away. I ran for about a week before they found me and then they informed me that Vivian was dead..."

"I'm sorry you changed Aiden" I hate that I can't say more but I'm not good with words.

"I can tell they way you changed hurts you to much other wise I'd ask for your story...."

"Thank you" I smile at him and he shines right on back before leaving me alone. I've learned to much recently but I need to learn a few more things so I turn around and hunt down Than. He's in my room doing push ups so I sit on his back as he continues. "You can read me so tell me what you see when I look at me."

"You shine, and you look so happy. Your emotions are very strong when it comes to me, but you don't love me. I'm not quite sure you can love, not yet at least. When I look at you I see your pain and confusion at everything around you and how lost you truly are In your new world. I see your strength and I see you." I smile and roll off and under his arms so I'm under him.

"Your all I have Than."

"No my moon you have us all, it just so happens that your my biggest weakness and the love of my life so I'm around more often."

"Why don't I love you?"

"Your scared" I close my eyes and sigh when he kisses me before standing up. He's the third male to just walk away from me, we'll off to Soterios I go...

"Why is it that all your people are readers?"

"Only three are and that's not a big amount Nokomis," meh...

"They all read me the same but differ if that makes any sense what so ever. It's like well I don't quite know."

"With each level of what they see they read you. It's just the way there gifts work."

"I guess..."

"What are we doing Soterios?"

"What do you mean?"

"What's the point of getting so many people and protecting us do we have a point?"

"I'm not really sure, I just know I have to..."

"Dreams right?" He nods, " mine are about death so you know" I shrug again.

"True, very true."

"Why am I here, I mean I'm not exactly a good one..."

"Because no one in this house is good, or evil. We're all tainted with our opposite."

"That's so cheery." I mutter sarcastically, then a question pops up. "How'd you get to be half and half?"

"Not an answer for you to know Nokomis." I frown and he walks away swiftly. Why is it that they all walk away from me.

"Nokomis!" Lucius calls and I say the first thing that pops into my head.

"Your name means light, did you know that? I mean its funny because what is light really? I mean um yeah in the end it's just the absence of dark same thing it is with darkness being the absence of light you know?"

"You think greatly into the world my child." I frown but he just smiles. "It's sad that your an original dark being other wise I'd love being around you."

"What?" I'm confused

"Your absolutely perfect except your originally dark."

"Excuse me?"

"That and your Than's play toy." I gasp, what the hell!"

"Enough Lucius!" Alacer says angrily and Lucius walks away. What the fug was that?

"Are you alright?" Aiden asks as I kneel down.

"He wants to, wait what did he want?!?"

"He's messed up Nokomis." Alacer tells me and I stare at the floor before running away to Than.....
