That morning I woke up and I looked down to where Taylor was sleeping. She wasn't awake. I laid back down and stretched. Then I hear Taylor's voice. "Carly are you awake?" She says propping herself up on her elbow. "Yeah Im up." I say looking at her. "Did I tell you there's a huge barn party
tonight!! We should go?" She asks. "Yeah that would be fun let's go down stairs and ask my mom!"

We ran down the stairs in our pajamas. My mom was sitting in her recliner. "Hey mom." I say just coming around the corner from the stairs to the living room. "Yeah!" "Can Taylor and I go to a
party tonight?" I say just hoping she will say yes. Instead she asks a bunch of questions. "At who's house?" "Josh's" I say back. "What time?" She says not even looking from her laptop. "Starts at 8!"
"And you two are gonna stay out of trouble, Carly?" She says raising an eyebrow at me. "Yes mom I promise!" I say just hoping. "Alright you can go. Do you need a ride?" She asks. "No mom josh is gonna pick us up before, to help decorate!" I yell as we're running back up the stairs. It's only 5:00 in the afternoon. "Ok Tay I'm gonna take a shower. When I get out you can get in." I go take a shower. I wash my hair and my body. I quickly hop and throw on my robe. Taylor goes in. I start going through my closet. I wanna look good tonight. Josh has some really good looking friends.

Maybe I'll meet the 'man of my dreams'. I don't know. I sit down on the bed and wait for Taylor to come out of the shower. She comes out in her bright pink robe. "Ok let's figure out what we're gonna wear." I go to my closet. Taylor goes to her suitcase. "Carly what about these?" She pulls out a pair of jean shorts. There like a light denim blue. Like a faded. "Oh Tay those are so cute!!"
"How bout theses?" I show her a pair of white jean shorts. And then a tank top with a print on it that says, "anything goes good with cowgirl boots." And then I show her my cowgirl boots.
"Oh my yes, Carls that would be sooooooo cute!!!" She says I just smile and lay the clothes out on my bed. Taylor picks her clothes out and lays them on my bed. It's only 6:00. So we decide to paint our nails. I paint my nails a light blue to match the letters that lay against the white on my tank. Taylor paint her the same blue I did, to match her shorts. We then go to the bathroom and start to put on our makeup. When were done we both look hot. Then we grab our things and bring
them downstairs to wait for Josh. His car pulls up and we both hop in.

We drive to the barn I can't wait!
