He's a country boy

Chapter 3

We pull up to the barn, and there a lots of boxes stacked up. Tay and I got out of the car.

"All the decorations are in the boxes, you two start going through them. I've got to go to the shed."
Josh walks away. I walk over to one of the boxes and start looking.
"Hey Tay lets hang these up." I say holding a white paper ball. So we sit down and start folding them. "Gosh Carls your cowgirl boots are so cute!" She says while folding. "Thanks Tay." I say.

Tay and I talk about the party, and guys and things. I see josh walking back carrying a ladder and someone coming up behind him. They make it back up to the front of the barn. They have some like tent things that are made of wood. they have no sides or roof. They are just a frame and they have netting hanging from the tops. They set up the ladder underneath the netting. I don't know who the other guy is. He's wearing jeans with a blue and white and black plaid button up shirt. He's got on farmers work boots. He has the most amazing farmers tan. His hair is perfect. It's short but not to short.
It's spiked up in the front. He's very fit. I can tell he's a good hard working country boy. His eyes are perfect. Dark brown. Josh and the guy are talking. When he laughs. It's adorable. I smile, I try not to laugh. I put my head down. I keep folding the balls. Taylor gets up and starts talking to Josh.
"Taylor tonight gonna be soooo fun!!" He says wrapping his arms around her. She giggles."Alright c'mon Jesse lets get these lights up." They lean down and grab some white Christmas
lights. They start wrapping them around the netting. I keep staring at him. He's really hot. I've always wanted a country boy.
"Carly he's perfect for you!" Taylor says kinda quiet.
"No Taylor! He's not even interested in me!" I basically whispered but yelled.
"Well lets see what happens tonight at the party!" She said with a smirk.
So for about a half hour after Taylor and I folded and taped paper balls. I watch Jesse for most of it. Then when we were all done, Taylor got Josh to come and help so we tied them to where the lights were hanging. Taylor started handing balls to Josh and so I handed them to Jesse. His eyes were amazing but he kept looking at me funny. I couldn't figure out why. It didn't matter he was never gonna ask me out, nothing. We finished hanging up the balls, and it looked amazing. It
looked very romantic. I kept thinking about Jesse, but I knew there would never be anything between us. There would be no hugs no kisses. Nothing. My mind never wanted a boyfriend. But some part, some piece of me did, and I kinda hoped it would be Jesse.
