We drove down a long dirt road. I couldn't see Josh's truck up head, I guess we were keeping distance. Hopefully Jesse knew where we were going. The road was a little muddy, I missed those days where Jesse and I had cute little dates and worked on his demo car. He never did get to demo the car. Now our lives had changed, we were running from, the cops, Taylor's dad, and everybody looking for us. We arrived at a little trailer. It was a little beaten up, but I could tell we would have to make it work. I left my bags in the truck and went to check out the house. Taylor and josh came just as we were heading in.
"Tay, lets go check out this house." I smiled and grabbed her hand and we went in.

Everything inside was matching everything on the outside. Some of the furniture had plastic over the top, and it needed a lot of work. Jesse came in followed by Josh. There was two rooms with mattresses that were actually kind of decent, but they just sat on the floor. The walls were a awkward, musty, gross yellow.
"Josh this cant be healthy." Jesse spoke as he hugged me from behind.
"Well, I kinda didn't think this would be this bad, we will probably have to fix it up a little." We all laughed a little at Josh's remark.
"Ish, I have to wash my hands." I walked over to the sink I lifted the handle. No water.
"Ok Jesse I hope your a plumber too."
"Why, babe, please," he flipped on the sink, nothing came out.
"Josh! Your fixing the plumbing!" He screamed to Josh who was in another room. We all laughed. Jesse and I both went out to get our bags.
"Jesse we can't stay here." I said when it was finally just us two.
"Baby please, we will fix it up. Nobody's gonna find us here." He said embracing me in a hug.
"Jesse, I'm scared." He didn't let go and I cried onto his chest.
"It'll be okay I'm not gonna let anything happen to you." We grabbed the bags and brought them into the house and into our room.

Our room was dark and gray. There was cobwebs hanging in the corners of the room. A little spider, was busy working, as he made the cobweb bigger. I watched him and then Jesse must have noticed him too, because he killed him with his hat. We laid some blankets down on the little mattress. It's super gross, I didn't like the house for it was really dirty and falling apart. Jesse said that it was maybe our only hope for staying hidden.
"Jesse! Lets go to town and get dinner!" Josh yelled from the kitchen. I followed Jesse into the kitchen.
"Yea, but josh we can't just go into town and hope that everybody there doesn't recognize us." Josh didn't get that going into town we could get caught. Not only are we running from Taylor's dad, but the cops too. We had runaway.
"Yea your right, I will be, Sam."
"Josh we can't just change our names. Lets go and we will figure this out when we get back. We can't spread lies about us, we might need these people to help us." Jesse laughed.
"I'll be be back in a little bit." He kissed my forehead and him josh went out to the truck.
"Sam? That's a dumb name? Why wouldn't you be something cool." Jesses asked as he got into the truck. Taylor and I both laughed as we watched them through the door, they waved and then pulled away. We cleaned while the boys were gone.

"How's the food?" Chicken was all for tonight. The boys bought a lot of groceries but it was late so we just had chicken.
"We need money." Josh said as we ate.
"I know a guy here, he's a farmer. He was a real good friend of mine when we were younger, he moved down here to farm. We could go work for him." Jesse said. The thought of Jesse working scared me, I'd be home alone all day. I would have Taylor, but what if they got caught.
"I'll call him tomorrow and see if he'll take us both." We kept eating.

Later that night Jesse and I were laying in bed. I was facing him but he was holding me.
"Jesse are you gonna go work?" I said locking my eyes on his.
"Yea, I have to. I'll go in tomorrow and start. Them once we have money we can start fixing stuff around here." I put my head back down onto his chest.
"Babe everything will be okay." We went to sleep. I was so scared, but I finally felt safe being close to Jesse again.
