Chapter 13-Cold Hearted

As I was walking away, I felt hands grip me by my back. Small hands. Malia's hands.

She made me fall, and I got back up. I growled at her, and suddenly I was extremely cold all over. The kind of cold that strikes after the numbing cold.
Before I could react, I pushed her.

I dont know how, but she froze and the cold feeling was gone as quickly as it came. I gasped at the damage. Allison screamed, "SOMEONE!!!GET PETER!" I stood there, mouth open.
Peter appeared quickly, and inspected Malia.
He turned to me, "Faith, go to your cabin. I would like to speak to you. Help you. Dont be scared."He spoke calmly and quietly. I nodded and began to walk.

Behind me, Peter spoke calmly to Allison. "Allison, I want you to get angry, and put your hand on Malia. Not too hard. Because I want you to save our sister, not damage her." I dont know what happened after. I was a fair distance away from the bon fire pit.

When I walked into the room, I decided I would try to clean the mess.
I cleaned off my wet bed and Allison's scorched hay that she woke up on. I knew I only had a few minutes to think, so I did. Hard.
Was that me? Why was I so cold? I remember something about a Hell Hound and a Flare. Jace has something to do with it, and I am certain Allison does as well. Peter did not look surprised. What will he do to me, now that I froze his sister?
I was snapped out of my thoughts when Peter attempted to close the door after comming in to the cabin.
"Wow" I heard him whisper.
I turned to him with tears in my eyes. I am scared and slightly embaraced.
"Am I monster?"I asked him. Tears falling.
"N-no! If you are so is Allison, and so am I." He shook his head and engulfed me in a hug. He held me close to him.
"But what if you are..." I sort of regreted saying that due to the sad look that came over his face. Until he hugged me tighter and whispered in my ear, "Every monster has something that makes them human. No matter how scary they are. My something is...you."
I nodded.
That is all I could do right now.
