Faith's point of veiw

I woke up with the sun shining in my eyes. What the shuck happened? Where am I?

Last time I checked, Thomas the Greenie led us out of the Maze. I always knew he was smart. Just not so brilliant as to get us out of our prison that held us each for at least 2years-2months. I am 17 as of right now. That's what Newt said I looked like...
Wait. Newt!

I began to franticly search my surroundings. Looking around, I noticed that I was seated on an island. Behind me was a tropical looking forest, and facing me was a light blue ocean. It looked so calm. The waves swaying peacfully, they crashed gracefully at the shore, and for a second I forgot what I had to do. Looking around some more, I noticed bodies littering the shore. Some of them stood out to me. One with Black hair. Thomas. One with long black hair. Teresa. One pudgy one with Brown Hair, around him was a spreading pool of blood. Chuck!!!
I tried to get up, but it felt as though every time I moved my legs, an unknown individual shot them with a gun. So I decided to crawl without moving my legs. Luckily, my arms worked better than my legs. Probably that invisable individual cut me some slack so that I could get to the imobile boy.

Eventually, I was close enough to him that I could touch him. His chest didnt rise and fall like the other bodies' chests did. His was stiff. Not even a shudder. Only an opening in his chest worked in his body. It pummped out his blood as well as his life. Then, it all came back to me. The disaster. The little boy infront of me had died a nobal death. He sacraficed himeself for "Tommy" as Newt would say. He intercepted the weapon that was aimed to take Thomas's life.
I started to cry. It was all that I could do. By now I heaved myself into a sitting position next to Chuck's little body. He looked so peaceful. Hopefully, he was in a better place.
I sat by his side for a few minutes. Soon, I found myself crawling away from the scene. I couldnt take it. I looked to my left. A tuft of golden-brown hair caught my eye. Newt. I pushed and strained. Once I was by his side, I decided to check his pulse. I wasnt going to take anymore deaths. Especialy the death of this boy that happened to jump into my life when nobody was there for me. My finger tips touched right below his ear, and he made a sound close to a moan. The kind of sound you make when you are being woken up from a pleasent dream.
"Five...More...Minutes" he murmered and flipped onto his side. By now I could tell that he was alive. He looked peacefull. Like Chuck. Except his chest rose and fell. Unlike Chuck's.

I kissed him on the cheek, layed down next to him, and closed my eyes. Back in the Glade, I would often have nightmares. Like you might have guessed, Newt was always there to cuddle them away. Even now when our bodies were not touching at all, I could still feel the same warmth I felt those nights in the Glade. Just as I began to drift asleep which didnt take long, I felt a soft touch of lips on my cheek. Then, a pair of strong arms was wrapped around me. I opened my eyes only to see my Angel. Beautiful as always. Looking into my blue eyes, staring into my soul the way only he was able to. I looked into his. There was a hint of depression and a tad of sorrow, but it was covered up by forced happiness.
