Chapter 22

Chapter 22: "Now for dessert!"
Rachel:
It's been a month and I have gained weight but that's because of the baby.

When Max told me about the Hawaii trip a month ago, I didn't know he was so stoked for it! I mean, I am really stoked but he seems really happy.

We're in the airport right now, waiting for our late arrival plane.

By "we're" I mean Adam, Corey, Ross, Alesa, Max, and I. Not to forget the baby.

We're bringing friends for more fun. I'm good friends with Adam and Alesa, and Corey's just always fun along with Ross. So this will definitely make the whole trip better.

I look up at the time and notice our flight is 30 minutes late. I sigh as I look around more to find everyone either sleeping or on their phone.

Max, Adam, and Corey are dead asleep. As for Ross, Alesa, and I, on our phones.

I look up to the board to see if anything has changed. Nope.

I look back down at my phone and rub the screen with my thumb. I decide to put it in my pocket and lay my head on Max's shoulder.

I feel my eyes close, and myself slowly fall asleep.

FLIGHT 209 PLEASE LINE UP, YOUR FLIGHT WILL BE TAKING OFF IN 30 MINUTES.

I whip my head up, so does everyone else.

"That's us." Max grunts.

We stand up and grab our things to get ready. We line up and continue to walk forward.

"Passport." She tells me.

I hand her all the passports from our group and she looks through them. She opens it, looks up, looks back down, closes it, staples our ticket and hands us our passports back.

She was very rude about it.

We walk down the long hallway and into the plane. I walk down the plane hallway and make sure I don't step on anyone's feet. When we find our seats we put the carry on up top.

There are 2 seats per row so Max and I sit together. Alesa and Adam sit together, Ross and Corey sit together.

We watch people go past us and such until the hallways go empty and we start to take off.

I lay my head back down on Max and he kisses it. I smile and close my eyes, yet again.

--Time skip; Hawaii--

Max lightly shakes me. I feel myself wake up and I raise my head to look around.

Max gives me a warm smile.
"We're about to land."

I nod my head and smile back groggly.

As I look out my window I see land, very pretty land with crystal blue waters. I see hotels along the coast line and lots of buildings.
