Chapter 19

Chapter 19: Mad Max and Winky faces

Rachel:

I open the door. Faster than I should've, but I did and I saw something I was...

Happy about.

I saw Max standing with his hands balled into fists as he pants while looking at 2 guys on the ground.

He looks to me and smirks.
"The other was too scared to stay"

I laugh as he uncups his hands and comes over to me and hugs me.

"When I saw them I got scared you were hurt so I hurt them."

I laugh as he holds onto me tighter. He moves his face to the crook of my neck and lightly kisses it. I feel tears run down my face as I know they won't be bothering me anymore.

He lets go and wipes my tears.

"Do you want to share the story?"

I nod my head and give a small smile.
I see the guys soon get up and scatter off like scared wild animals.

We both walk in and he holds my lower back as we walk to the couch. As we're walking I laugh.

"You went all Mad Max on them."

He gives me a dirty look and starts to laugh.

I pick up Lucy and put her on my lap. I face Max and begin to tell the story.

"So, in highschool this guy was super nice and such a gentleman. He was my bestfriend and such a nice guy, until we moved in together. He started to become more... more controlling. He began to get more into drugs, and alcohol. He became angrier and angrier by the drink. He became pissed at the smallest things."

I stop myself and feel tears.

"Then he started to get physical."

Max sits closer and listens more closley.

"He began to hit me and use me in different ways that I hated. His whole personality vanished and I wanted to get away. So I did. I moved far away from New York, for gods sake I lived in Seattle. But, he followed me. I didn't know until today. So, I don't think he's coming back."

I laugh knowing he won't be back. He's as weak as a child when it comes to fights, he's such a pussy.

Max smiles at me ans hugs me. We fall ontop the couch.

"What about the other guys?" Max asks.

"Some of his bestfriends that always followed him around, they're his gang now." I sigh.

We lay on the couch for a bit and enjoy each others company. I look at Max and ligtly peck his lips.

"Wanna watch a movie and have a glass of wine?" I ask.

"Ye."

I smile and grab the remote off the table. I turn on the TV and scroll through Netflix until we found the movie "Remember Me." And clicked play.

We watched throughout the movies with laughs, cries and smiles. Of course we- well... I was crying a little at the end but got over it.

Max sits up.

"I'll take the glasses into the kitchen"

"Okay." I smile.

He grabs both glasses and stands up. I watch him walk into the kitchen a look down the hall. I know half the house is pitch black because we never turned on lights. I'm sitting on the couch still, watching TV. Just re-runs of Modern Family.

I see him walk down the hall and turn on the lights down there. I hear him chuckle lowly. I question it.

I hear him walk back and come back out into the Living room with the note from earlier.

"Forgot about this." He smirks.

"Oh did you now?" I giggle as he throws the note on the table.

He sits down next to me again and I sit up next to him. I kiss his face a few times. I keep going and pull away finally after a minute. He didn't move a muscle. He's just smiling.

He still doesn't move and I'm just enjoying the view. I get scared when he makes a fast move and practically attacks me on the couch. I feel his beard on my cheek as he lightly kisses me.

He then moves towards my lips and I reach to turn up the TV volume. I reach the remote and feel around for the volume button as Max still lightly kisses me. I finally turn up the volume and get back to Max.

We get more and more intense... Throughout the night
