Chapter 29

Chapter 29: Dresses, Dresses, More Dresses!
Rachel:

Finally, after one year and 6 months we can finally have this wedding.

We had to hold it off because of the car accident, family, then Carter. She's 3 months now. Yet we had to care for Carter so even then it was hard to get married. As of right now? Im in a car with Alesa, Shelby, and AshleyMariee. Ashley got to come for the wedding and she said she'd help pic a dress for me.

So now, we look, we fit, and we buy.

Shelbs and Ashley are my bridesmaids. My maid of honor is obviously, Alesa.

We saved the ring barrer to be the cutest, and yes, It's Carter. She'll have help getting down the isle with the ring but it's adorable.

Back to dresses!

Two people walk towards us as we walk in the store and smile at us.

"Hi, my name is Jessica and this is Sabrina. What are you kind of dress are you looking for today?" She asks nicely.

"Well, today I'm looking for something strapless of course, maybe a sweetheart neckline, and poofy at the bottom. Not too poofy, but just enough." I tell her.

I thought this through a lot since I had time.

"And for the bridesmaids?" She smiles as she motions her hand towards the girls.

"Something suttle. Maybe a lighter pink but not ugly pink." I say.

"I know exactly what you mean." She smiles. "I'm going to take a look in the system, and grab a few dresses for you. There is a seat over there and I will bring the dresses to you." She smiles.

"Okay! Sounds like a plan!" I say with excitement filling my voice.

"Oh, and what would the price range be for you?" She quick asks.

"Maybe 13K. And thats the highest i'll go. And thats pretty high" Saying with a bit of hesitation.

"Okay, i'll be there soon" She smiles.

We walk over to where she said to sit. There are a lot of areas to sit and look in the mirror. Then there are rooms towards the left of the building where you put them on and try them. Alesa points to the second "stall" in and we walk over.

It doesnt take long before she brings the dresses.

"I have these four and theyre all a low price except one which is only a little over your limit."

I nod to her and stand up.

"Ready to try them on?" She asks with a smile.

"Yep!" I say happily.

We walk towards the room and head inside. She hangs up all the dresses and grabs 4 sheets of paper. She grabs a pen and writes on the pieces of paper 'A, B, C, and D'. She walks over to the dresses and sticks on one letter per dress.

"Okay! First things first! Lets try on A."

I nod my head and we unwrap it from the wrapping around it to protect it from damage.

I slip into it easily, and It's comfy. That's good.
I turn around and look in the mirror and find that it is a sweetheart neckline, with poof, but it has a very strange design. One I really dislike.

"Okay, lets show the girls." She says.

I walk out with the big dress and look at them in hesitation. They look at me and notice the very strange flowery design on the chest.

"I dont know.." Alesa says.

"This looks strange because of the design." Shelby says.

"Okay since no one will say it, The design makes it look bad. It doesnt look normal." Ashley says.

I laugh at her comment and look in the mirror again.

"She's right, it seems strange." I say to her a little embarassed.

"Hey! Whats wedding dress shopping without finding a dress you dont like? You cant find the perfect one on the first try!" She laughs.

I laugh as she directs me to the room again.

"Okay, lets do B." She says while taking the wrap off.

It seems okay from here, but as I put it on it's extremely itchy. I almost cant bear the itchyness. It is really pretty but I cannot STAND this itching!

I walk out of the room and look at them with pain.

"It looks pretty!" Shelby claps.

"It does fit your shape well." Ashley says.

Alesa looks me up and down, then looks at my face, then scans me again.

"It's itchy, it's a no. Go get the next one Rach." She says.

I laugh and nod at her comment. We walk back to the room and put dress B away.

"Okay, C." She smiles.

It looks gorgeous. It looks so pretty. It has gems up and down the chest, it's a sweetheart neckline, and its poofy. It has clear sleeves with gems along the side too.

Its Perfect.
But is it comfy?

I put it on and look. It's amazing. And it's not itchy. It's too good.

"I dont think I need the other dress" I say in amazement while looking in the mirror and roaming my eyes all over the dress, taking in every detail.

"Probably not, it's perfect for you." She smiles.

"How much?" I ask with worry hoping it's in price range.

"Luckily, It's not the expensive one. It's 11.5k" She smiles.

"Im showing them." I say.

I walk outside to find all of them in fitted, beautiful, light pink dresses. They're perfect.

They all stand up when I walk out.

"Oh my god!" Shelby says with her hand covering her smile.

"It looks amazing! Is it itchy?" Ashley says.

I shake my head and look at Alesa.

"It fits you perfecfly, It looks amazing, and you love it. I say- buy it." She smiles.

I start to tear up as I look down at it.

"Wait, Rachel!" Jessica yells while pulling something out of the dress wrapping. "It comes with this too!"
She says while holding up a beautiful hair piece to go on the side of my head.

Jessica smiles.

I turn to the girls.

"I love the bridesmaids dresses, do you?" I ask them.

They all nod their heads in excitement.

"Sabrina picked them for us and we love them." Alesa says while posing in it.

"I love them so much." Shelby says.

"Same here!" Ashley screams while standing up.

"Well lets go, we have some dresses to buy!"
