Chapter 15

Chapter 15: I missed you.
Max:

It's been 3 weeks. 3 weeks and she hasn't woken up. Everyone went home because of their jobs. I told Adam I can't so he gave his vidoes for Jake to work on.

I just woke up. I'm in the bed with Rachel because they say it's safe enough to. She's stabilized enough to be moved, but they believe she's in a small coma.

I sit here, waiting. Waiting for the one person I need in life to wake up.

I stand up and fix my hair. I also go to sit down in the chair. I look up at the TV.

It's on, and Rachel's all over it.

NEWS REPORT ANNOUNCEMENT

I change the channel.

Someone under the name "Rachel Walls" has been shot by a man in their office. Friends say she's is a famous youtuber and in the hospital now. We can roll the clip for you.

Now I don't change the channel. I never really saw what had happened.

I watch as it's Jin reaching in his pocket to grab the gun. I see Adam put his hands up.

Jin shoots but misses.

I run up to help Ad-..

Rachel is behind me, running after me to get away.

I push Adam away from Jin and Jin turns to shoot me...

Rachel stands in front of me and gets shot in her lower abdomen.

I feel tears burn my eyes as she falls to the ground. I turn off the TV when it ends.

I could've pushed her away.

I could've told her to stay in the office.

I could've saved her.

I start crying now. Again. I look over at Rachel and see how pale she really looks.

She has made a difference though. Her cheeks are rosier than usual which is good.

I have some hope.

I am still crying and I grab Rachel's hand. I kiss it and leave it in mine as I cry.
