Day One

Day One: What would you do if #1 woke you in the middle of the night? (Black Star)

Feeling an annoying tap on my forehead as an irritating voice fills my dreams, I hesitantly wake up. "Wake up, wake up, wa-" I hit the persistant intruder on the head. "Hey! What was that for?!" Opening my eyes, I finally get a look at him, then sigh.

"Black Star, what the hell do you want?" Glancing at my clock causes me to cringe. "It's three in the morning! What the fuck made you think waking me up this early was a good idea?" He blushes and rubs the back of his head.

"You, uhm.. You don't remember?" His face saddens a bit, causing me to get anxious. I look back into my memory, curious. That's when it hits me.

"What's the date?"

This automatically makes him perk up. "It's uhm, the meteor shower.. You promised me we could watch it together from the roof.. It starts in half an hour."

"Oh, right!" I smile slighty. "Go down stairs and start the stove so I can get dressed. I'll make us some hot chocolate." I turn on the lamp and see his face is more red than I imagined, but then again, mine probably is too. He nods and heads down stairs. I quickly scan through my drawers and find my favourite pair of jeans and a hoodie, then comb through my pink hair and brush my teeth.

Black Star has already begun warming milk for the hot chocolate and is now looking at pictures of me from my childhood by the time I walk into the kitchen. "Hey," I interrupt. He blushes slightly and turns to look at me.

"Oh, he-" He looks me over. "Wow, you look.. great.."

I shake my head. "Don't lie to me, I'm not wearing makeup." He slides closer to me, now only inches away.

"Sae, I've known you since before you even knew what makeup was. You always look beautiful. With or without all that fancy stuff, you're still the Saeko I've always lo-.. known." His face flushes, but his eyes don't drift away from mine.

"B-Black.. Star.." I whisper as his face nears mine. He closes his eyes and leans in. Smiling, I do the same. As our lips come together, I swear the world stops. He lingers here, not daring to pull away from me. Everything just.. falls into place.

Finally, I drag myself away from his sweet lips and giggle. He looks down at me with gentle eyes. "Thank you." He whispers.

"For what?" I wrap my arms around his neck as his sink around my waist. Black Star's green eyes peer directly into my soul.

"Accepting my feelings, Sae." He smiles his stupid grin. "You've always been here for me. You always supported me.. I don't know what I'd do without you." He plants his mouth firmly on mine and holds me close to him, our bodies pressed together.
