Day Eighteen

Day Eighteen: You can't stop laughing. What does #10 do? (Kyo Sohma)

My best friend, Kyo Sohma, glares at me. "What the hell are ya' laughin' at?!" he practically shouts. I shake my head and continue to giggle. "Saeko! Freakin' quit it!"

"B-.. But-!" I manage between hysterical fits of laughter.

"But what?!" I hold my stomach in absolute pain.

"I-I'm going.. to fucking.. get abs.. from laughing this hard.." I take deep breaths in between words.. then begin to crack up again. "I-I don't even.. know why.. I'm laughing.."

"Is.. she okay?" Hatsuharu asks Kyo.

"I don't frickin' know, she won't stop!"

I clutch onto the chair for support, feeling light headed. "Saeko-Chan? Are you alright?" Momiji asks me, looking concerned. I shake my head, still snickering.

"I.. can't fucking breathe.." Unable to stand nor breathe, I collapse onto the floor. Everything momentarily fades to black...

"Saeko? C-Can you hear me?" Kyo's worried voice fills my thoughts.

"K-K.." I try to speak, but my voice fails me.

"Shh.. It's okay, I've got ya'." He pats my head gently.

"W-What happened..?"

"You passed out, idiot," his voice is somewhat shaky. "Do ya' have any idea how worried I was? I almost made Momiji call Hatori!"

"I.. passed out.. from laughing?" I chuckle slightly, then notice the expression on Kyo's face. "I am so sorry."

He grins slightly. "Don't scare me like that anymore, okay?"

"O-Okay." I blush and look away.

"Are you feelin' okay? Your face is turnin' red..." Kyo places the back of his hand on my forehead, checking for a fever. I pull away, turning even more red.

"I-I'm fine!" I try to get up too quickly and fall into his arms.

"Watch it, Tanaka," he growls at me playfully, then starts cracking up.

"I hate you." I smirk.

"No you don't!" He protests.

"I-I know.." I advert my gaze, smiling to myself. You idiot.
