It's a rare thing when I actually rant.
This will be somewhat personal, but I needed to get this off my chest. Here we go.
As you may know, I'm a genderfluid asexual person, who will date anyone. I use to say I was bisexual, but now I just say I'll date anyone. And it makes me happy. Most people think I'm bi and I don't even care, honestly.
Now. My family, sadly, knows I'm not straight. I've dated girls, so what. They obviously care, stating that I 'better marry a boy.' and 'better not date a girl.' But they're sooooo understanding!1!1!1!1
To any other adults who ask, my mom says her and my dad are 'trying to understand it.' Uh huh. Totally. That's what you tell my counsellor, totally. Sure. It's not like you tell me I can't date a girl and make fun of the name Tyler. What, of course not.
Now, I don't think 'queer' is an insult. When said in a playful matter between friends, idc. I'm here n queer. But when talking about a guy wearing pink and saying "he's a queer." or "he turned queer on us." is kinda, oh I don't know, fucking awful?? Then dad, putting my rainbow phone case on his phone, and stating "hey do I look like a queer?"

Stopping treating my fucking sexuality as an insult before I legit snap. I'm the type who just gets quiet and pissed when upset, but I swear to god I'll snap and yell at them if they say it one more time.

Then again, barely any of my irl friends called me Tyler (they did a few times) but we're working on it.

A lot of people now use him/he pronouns cause Tyler is a guy name (stfu it isn't) WHICH MAKES ME HAPPY
And when people call me a boy!! My family always finds it so funny but IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY AND I NEVER CORRECT THEM AND SCREAM WHEN MY PARENTS DO LIKE NOOO IM A MAN.

Speaking of gay, I may go to this LGBT+ art and writing workshop next month!! It's once a month from September till June and I just now heard about it but!!! Still!!! If I go, I'm writing about the Tyler/Abby problem :/ and being like "shoutout to my homophobic parents ✌🏼️" oh my god I kinda wanna
