Nobody's POV
It has been 3 months after Jalilah has given birth to two twin baby boys Yusuf and Yusr Alhamdulillah. Of course Dulamah was excited as ever that he had some more sons. On the other hand Ayah was mad because she wanted a baby sister/niece in the house.
"Ewww boys are disgusting!", Ayah complained as Khalil started sucking on his toes. She turned to look at the twin baby boys Yusuf and Yusr and made a loving face. "Awww they're sooooo cute MaShaAllah", she said. "Khalil isn't". Jalilah shook her head as she brushed baby Yusufs hair down.
"Jalilah can we go out for ice cream today?", Ayah asked. Jalilah slipped on Yusrs socks as she answered her. "No not today. The boys have a doctors appointment and you're going to go with Dulamah today. Maybe he can take you to get some ice cream".
Dulamah had walked into the house saying Bismillah and spreading his salaams through out the house. "JALILAH! AYAH! KHALIL!", he yelled. Khalil quickly rushed out to go see his father. He jumped on Dulamah as he saw him.
Dulamah's POV
"ABI!!", Khalil screamed as he jumped on me. I chuckled as I had picked him up. "Hey little man how have you been?", I asked. Khalil laughed and said Alhamdulillah. Ayah rushed out and looked at me smiling all hard. "Can we go for some ice cream Dulamah", she asked. I nodded. She jumped up cheering. Khalil folded his arms across his chest saying no fair.
I placed Khalil down and told him maybe next time. I headed to the back to see Jalilah putting on Yusuf and Yusrs snow suits on since it was freezing cold outside. "As salaamu Alaykum babe.....you need any help?", I asked. "Wa Alaykum salaam.......strap Yusr into his car seat InShaAllah.....please be careful babe", she said. She handed me Yusr as she finished up with Yusuf.
Alhamdulillah they were identical twins. Everything was the same. The had the same birthmark, the same, clothes on, all of their body features were the same subhannallah. Allah is truly Akbar Alhamdulillah. I smiled as I gave thanks to my Rabb for blessing me with such a beautiful family.
Jalilah's POV
I had waited 10 long months for my babies to be here. Subhannallah I had to wait a long extra month. They both came out at 13 llbs and 4oz. They were huge and fat. They're good babies Alhamdulillah. They sleep through the night, they barely cry and they are mostly always sleep. Yusuf and Yusr are currently 3 months old.
I handed Dulamah Yusuf after he strapped Yusr into his carseat. I slipped on my black abaya then my black hijab and black niqab. Oh yeah and my gloves too. Ayah grabbed my purse as Khalil went to go find my shoes that he wanted me to wear. "Thank you Ayah", I said. She smiled.
"Here mommy", Khalil said running into my bedroom out of breath handing me my black air force ones. "Thanks Pooh", I said kissing his cheek. "Lets go mommy.....to see doctor", he said. Dulamah carried both Yusuf and Yusr away in their car seats to the car. "Are they heavy babe?", I asked. He chuckled and said no.
"Then why do you look like you're struggling?", Ayah asked. He told her to be quiet and open up the car. After taking one of the twins I strapped them in as Dulamah strapped the other one in.
I got in the car and started it up after strapping Khalil in. Ayah and Dulamah hopped in as well. Dulamah was going to take the car after I drove myself to the doctors. I said Bismillah as I pulled out of the drive way and on to the doctors I went.
