Chapter 40
Dulamah's POV
I walked into the house of Abu Jalilah and umm Jalilah to come and pick up Ayah and Khalil.
"Why are you smiling? Yo Du. Did you do that trick?", Ameen asked. "Yeah man", I laughed. "It gets the women every time", Ameen laughs giving me a manly hug.
"Is Dulamah here yet?", I hear Ayah say. "Yeah little ukht. He's here", Ameen says. Ayah runs into the living room. When she sees me she hugs me.
"Where's mommy?", she asks. "Mommy's not feeling well", I say. "What happened to Jalilah?", umm Jalilah asked.
Qasim Ameen clearance his throat and walks away. "Well Dulamah?", she says. I look up at her then look away. "She happens to be sick", I said. "From sex", Abu Jalilah or Yahya said laughing.
I clear my throat and glare at him. "Is that it?", Sawdah asks. I nod. "Yeah", I say looking down. I looked up with a smile after they didn't say anything. "It was good too", I laughed giving Yahya a brotherly hug. He laughed too.
"Give my baby all that she needs", he laughed. Sawdah slapped him playfully with a smile.
"How was she?", Yahya asked. I looked at him. "Akhi. Bedroom secrets man", I said. He nodded. "Hell I wanted to know", he said patting my shoulder and walking off.
I walked into the kitchen to see Sawdah at the stove cooking. "Where's my son?", I asked. "He's in his room", she replied back. "His room?", I asked. She nodded. "Yahya and Ameen built a room for him. Ayah has her own also alhamdulilah", she smiled.
"That's great. Jazakallahu Khayran umm Jalilah", I said kissing her hand. She smiled. "They're my baby's too", she blushed.
I smiled heading to the back. I open the door and see my newborn son asleep and a dark brown wooden crib. He looked so handsome MaShaAllah.
He had a few soft stuffed animals around him. I took then out. I didn't want him to be surrounded by jinns.
"Why are you bothering Lee's toys?", Ayah asks. "They're shayateen toys", I said. She gasped. "No don't say that", she said hitting me."Jeddah got those for Lee", she said.
Ayah hits me again. I grab her hand. "Don't touch me again. Go to your Jeddah", I told her. She huffed then rolled her eyes stomping out.
On the way out she slammed the door and it woke Khalil up. He screamed and I nervously picked him up. Umm Jalilah ran in and took him from me. "Shush", she said.
Ayah ran in the room. She gasped. "Did I wake Lee up?", she asked. "Shut up and get out", I said to her.
"I can stay in here. Right Jeddah?", she said. Umm Jalilah out her a finger to her mouth telling Ayah to be quiet. She closed her mouth. "Okay", she said.
Khalil fell back to sleep shortly and umm Jalilah handed him to me after strapping him in his cat seat. "Once again Jazakallahu Khayran for keeping them both. As Salaamu alaykum", I say walking out of the house.
They returned the salaams. Ayah followed after me. "Can we go to Jannah's house?", she asked. "No", I said. "Why not?", she asked. "Please be quiet Ayah", I said. She huffed then again rolled her eyes.

One the way home I stopped at Burger King. We pulled into the driveway and Jalilah walked out of the house dressed in a chocolate brown butterfly abaya and her brown purse in her hand.
We decided that we were going to go to the park. It was a nice day out and I was enjoying it.
"Salaamu Alaykum", she said climbing in. She looked towards the back and immediately looked over at Khalil. "He's breathing", I tell her. "Did my pooks eat?", she asked me.
"Yes of course", I told her. "Alhamdulilah", she whispered. "Salaamu Alaykum Ayah", Jalilah said as I drove down the road. "Wa alaykumus salaam mommy", Ayah smiled.
Jalilah turned back around and pulled out her cell phone. "Who are you texting?", I asked as I was driving. "None of your damn business", she said looking at me. I hit her leg and she laughed. "Just Aamirah. She's bringing her hubbie and kids to the park too", she said.
"Oh MaShaAllah", I said. "Dulamah can you stop at the store so that I can buy some food?", Jalilah said. "Nope", I said. "Alright then. Your ass is the one that's gonna be hungry", Jalilah said. "I'm kidding baby", I said pulling into Walmart parking lot.
"Yeah thought so nigga", she said climbing out. I climbed out as well and grabbed her before she walked off. "Mmmhmm I'm a nigga now?", I asked kissing her neck. "Yup", she said pushing me away.
"Give me some love Lila", I said. She kissed me lips then pushed away. "A little more", I said. Jalilah pecked my lips then turned away. "Please hurry up out", I said to her. She nodded and grabbed her purse and walked off.
I climbed back into the car and waited. Khalil was asleep and Ayah was taking her shoes off. "Ayah put your she's on baby girl", I said to her. "Laa I don't want to brudder", she said. "Alright then", I said.
Fifteen minutes later Jalilah still wasn't out if the store yet. What was taking this woman so long? Is it all women or just mines?
"Where's mommy?", Ayah asked. "In the store", I muttered. I pulled out my phone and texted her.
Me: baby hurry up
She didn't reply back. She was either shopping slow, talking to someone, or in a right. I hope she was just at check out. Self check out so that we can get going.
Two young brothers that I knew from the Masjid just across the street ran past me. I climbed out and calked them. "Ya akhi Hamzah and Muhammad what happened?", I asked.
Hamzah looked at me and ran over. "Abu Khalil, Jalilah your wife fell out as she was shopping", he said. Muhammad walked over and nodded.
"Watch these two please", I said before running into Walmart. When I ran in I immediately went looking for Jalilah. As I walked inti aisle four she was talking to some sister who I recognized as Aisha her friend.
"As Salaamu Alaykum", I said walking up to them. I was confused. "Wa alaykumus salaam", they replied back. "So baby you got the message?", Jalilah said. I kept my distance from Aisha and lowered my gaze. "Yeah I did. You fell out?", I questioned.
"She fainted", Aisha said. "Alright. You okay?", I asked Lila who nodded. "Well if you're okay lets go. I don't want those boys with my baby", I said. Jalilah gave salaams to Aisha and hugged her then pushed the shopping cart away with us.

Finished chapter!!! I haven't updated in forever and asif (sorry). I've had testing and junk and it was hard as hell lol. InShaAllah (if God wills) I'll update as always but Idk. Qadr Allah (decree of Allah).
