Chapter 27

Nobody's POV

Qasim Ameen looked around the yard before climbing into his car. He had seen a suspicious car down the neighborhood but didn't care who the heck could be inside watching him.

He drove off down the road and slowly the car followed him. As he turned onto the busy highway that same car had followed him. "Bitch", he muttered under his breath. He took an exit off of the highway and angrily sat at the red light tapping the steering wheel irritated.

When the light had turned green he pushed on the gas and quickly but safely parked at the Macy's parking lot. The car that had been following him parked farther away. He got out after placing his pocket knife, wallet, keys and cell phone in his pocket then slammed his door shut. He walked over in the direction of the car that had followed him.

He knocked on the window and it revealed a beautiful Muslim girl. "Open the door", he told her after taking his eyes off of her. "What do you want stranger?", she asked. Qasim Ameen looked up at her again but just didn't remember who she was. She did oddly familiar to him, he thought but there was no way that him and her had had history together.

"Why have you been following me?", he asked after seeing that she wouldn't open the door. "What're you talking about", she says rolling her eyes. "I am not following you. I'm was actually getting clothes from the sale today", she tells him. "Yeah right", he mumbled under his breath. "Excuse me?", she said with a smirk.

He rolled his eyes then had backed away from her car. He walked away thinking that that was definitely stupid and unsafe to do. "Hey Ameen", the young woman's voice called. Qasim Ameen spun around and glared at her. "Who the fuck are you?", he asked walking back up to the car. "Lets ride around", she offered.

"No", he told her. "Why not?", she asked with an eyebrow raised. "You know it's haraam", he said turning his eyes into slits. She opened her car door and got out. She was a little bit shorter than him. Maybe three inches shorter than Ameen.

He felt uncomfortable just eyeing her with out lowering his gaze. She was wearing a dark purple maxi dress and a bright yellow shirt and a bright yellow and dark purple hijab. With yellow flats. He looked away as soon as his eyes had wanted to see more.

"Or......", she said trailing off as she eyed him while biting her bottom lip. "We could talk here", she said looking down at the ground. "How about you just leave me the hell alone", he tells her. She opens her mouth to say something but he cuts her off. "See,... that's talk", he tells her. She rolls her eyes then asks him who was his best friend as a child.

'This can't be another freaking family member', Ameen thought quite annoyed. He was quite tired of seeing family honestly. "Why do you ask that?", he asks. "Just answer it?", she tells him. "None of your God damn business, yours?", he asks. She shrugs. "Can't tell sorry", she tells him turning away slightly. "Ukhti are you alright?", he asked. "For some reason you're worry me", he tells her.

"I'm fine. I should be going on with shopping", she says. She grabs Ger huge grey purse then places her keys inside then lock all of the door then slams them shut. "You are definitely a pervert", she laughed. Indeed Qasim Ameen was staring at  her back area as she had bent down to collect her things from her car.

He turned away in embarrassment then gave salaams before walking away. She whispered her salaams back then made her way into the store.

Unknown POV

My best friend Hanifah had met up with me at Macy's. The both of us were looking through the clothes rack before she broke the silence. "What were you doing talking to a non mahram brother?", she asked. I shrugged. "Nothing. He came over to my car. I didn't go to his", I tell her. "Are you in a secret relationship", Hanifah asked. I nearly choked on my gum.
