We arrived at the park and both me and Jannah ran to the swing sets as if we we're little kids. Qasim Ameen had a look on his face that said embarrassing but I really didn't care. There we're a lot if people here and if they saw two Muslim women running to the swing sets like five years old then who cares. Because honestly we didn't. We sat beside each other on the swing set just racing each other like little kids.

Qasim Ameen smirked as a mom was looking at us with a frowned up face. "I really wish I could run like you too, you all ran to that swing like a mustang", she said with a laugh. My idiotic brother laughed at her saying, which caused Jannah to glare at him.

"Whatever lady, focus on that daughter of yours", Jannah mumbled under her breath. I laughed and that caused that women of a mother to laugh also. She thought I was laughing at her saying when really I was laughing at my best friend Jannah's saying. I stopped laughing because Jannah was now throwing death glares at me. I just sat quietly on my swing and slowly moved my legs.

Twenty minutes later, the woman and her daughter left saying goodbye. We all kindly said farewell with a smile. "Hope to never see you again", Jannah shouted out as the lady was opening up her car door which was about fifty feet away from us. "Don't be such a meany bitch", I say to her. She looks at me and rolls her eyes. We don't talk for five minutes then finally I apologize to her. "That was ridiculously stupid, I am sorry Jannah if I have hurted your feelings", I say with a grin. She looks up at me with a blank expression. "None taken, You always get me like that. I am not surprised", she says. I roll my eyes.

Qasim Ameen walks around the park with a grin on his face. It looks as if he is on the phone talking to one of his friends. "So can I ask you something?", Jannah asks. I look at her with a smile on my face. "Of course, you know that you can tell me anything", I say to her. "And every time I tell you what I want to tell you so bad, you act like a mad dog ready to chew me up", she says with a confused look. "Hurry up then so that I won't become a mad dog", I say with a grin on my face. She gives me a smirk then she rolls her eyes at me. "Ok", she says with a smile.

"All I want to know is why... why don't you get married? I know you're probably ready to kill my ass, but come in Jalilah you've had almost seven marriage proposals and not once did you agree. Most of them you complained saying that you we're tooooo young!!!", she says. "Do you want to know the truth Jannah?", I ask calmly. "YES!!!", she says desperately. "I just want to find the right guy and I'm not ready to be locked in the house forever. Jk but seriously I'm not ready I have other things to worry about like school". She stares at me then she sighs. "Now what if a Muslim brother went to ask your Abi for your hand in marriage and your abi told you, Now what would you say?", she asks.

"I don't know? I don't even know the guy", I say. She rolls her eyes at me. "Who cares? I mean as long as your abi know him then it's fine", she says. "Just trust in Allah and he'll lead you to your true Prince Charming".

Qasim Ameen walks over and asks if we yet made salaatul asr. We tell him no and he says that we should come onto the grass to follow behind him as he makes his asr prayer. "Ewww!!! that is so nasty, this is a damn park. See See look at that dog taking a crap in the grass", Jannah says pointing to a small dog. I scrunch my face up. "Or we can make salaat at the masjid", Qasim Ameen says. "Yep much better, the house if Allah it is. GO MASJID!", she says pumping her fist in the air with a small laugh. The both if us get up and follow Qasim to the car.

"What takes your brother so long? The Asr prayer was over twenty minutes ago", she says with a sigh. "Be patient", I say to Jannah. "Hey do you think Qasim is interested in me? I mean because I am interested in him. He is such a gentleman", Jannah says with a smile on her face. "I always knew that you had a crush on my brother", I say with a laugh. She rolled her eyes and smile. "Well not exactly, the crush actually just started today. Man, I shouldn't even be thinking about him. This is haram for sure", she says rolling her brown eyes again.

Qasim comes up to the car and Jannah sighs a relief. "Dang boy what took so long?", I asked him. "Nothing I had just wanted to give salaams to Amir and Dulamah", he says. I have never in my life seen these guys that he is talking about because then the next thing you know I'll be like dang Ameen who's he?, who's the Akhi with the henna stained beard? Mashallah Ameen ask that Akhi if he's looking for a wife. But no I can't do that because I'm still in college.

"Is everyone ok? You all seem so down", Qasim says.

My best friend Jannah sighs then she rolls her eyes. "It looks like it's about to rain", she says looking up at the sky. "Yeah, let's get out of here", I say driving out of the masjid parking lot.

Later on it did rain. The thunder was extremely loud because ummi had the windows open saying that she wanted fresh air. Everyone else in the house totally disagreed but she did get her way. Qasim Ameen came into my bedroom and just sat down on the floor with a blank expression. "What's up?", I ask him. He looks up at me startled. "Nothing, I just thought that I'd come into my big sis room and check everything out", he says with a grin. "Dude you're a jerk", I say with a laugh. He smiles then his smile fades. "I feel like one honestly", he says in a whisper. "How so?", I ask. He doesn't say anything for a while and I took that as an I'm thinking at the moment sis. "Sometime I- I like feel so jerkish that I keep on being more of a jerk everyday. I mean hey, I like a few sisters at the masjid but I just don't have the guts to ask for their hands in marriage and I feel weak and dumb. Being a jerk is me, I've alway been a jerk and I don't want to be one anymore. Not at douksi and not at highschool I want to change Lils honestly", he says staring up at me.

"Who the hell told my lil bro that you we're a damn jerk?", I asked him. He looked at me with a crooked smile. "Myself. I actually feel like one", he says. "Well Ameen, you aren't a jerk ok! so cheer up and please get out if my room", I say to him. He rolls his eyes and gets up. "Jazakallahu Khayran Lils", he says. "Yeah yeah Wayakum now get out", I say. He smiles leaving out of my bedroom.
