Some people just don't get it
They've never been upset.
They've never had someone
Give up on them
When they need them the most.
They've never cried
About being left behind.
They don't understand
Even when they say they can.
The best way to move on
Is to forget them and let them be gone.
Trust me about this
For I have experienced
The loss of a friend
To boys, drugs
Alcohol and gangs.
Just learn from them
And always remember
To love one another.
Learn to be a hugger
And you will be loved back.
