Finnick POV
She falls lifelessly to the ground. I sprint over to her faster then I ever have, and see a knife drenched in blood laying in her limp hand whilst her arm and shirt and covers in blood. I rip my shirt in half and knot it tightly around the wound. I pick her lifeless body up and jump into the car bridal style and twist her braid around my fingers as Glimmer speeds to the hospital.
When we arrive they put her on a stretcher and I stand and watch them in the hall as they wheel her away, glimmer by my side balling her eyes out saying that it shouldn't have been her repetitively. Which I agree with it shouldn't have been her, not anyone should have to have a knife thrown- then it comes into my head like a firework on New Year's Eve. Clove, she hangs out with Delly and hates Katniss since Delly hates her and clove throws knifes and she can do it very well who else could it be?
I tell glimmer and she just ignores everything, she's to busy crying. I feel bad for her, having her best friend that could well be dead, on the first day of school.
I text The group (Peeta, Johana, Cato, Annie, Glimmer, Gale)
Hey, bad news. Lover boy you might want to listen, Come to the hospital now. -Finnick
What happened?! - Cato and Gale
Well since lover boy doesn't know how to walk away from girls and our Teacher is Kats mother. JUST COME TO THE HOSPITAL AND ILL TELL YOU! - Finnick
-3 hours later-
Everyone is here besides Peeta. What a jerk he kisses Delly , and Katniss could be dead and he doesn't even show up. Thats not the usual Peeta, I don't know why but I am furious with him. I've told the group why Katniss ran out and they where crying even Johana. It's like we have known her for out whole lives, Katniss is like a little sister to me I couldn't loose her not after loosing Mags my grandmother she was like a mother to me.
I see someone walking down the hall "Anyone related to Katniss Everdeen please stand up" the man says Glimmer and I stand up since we are practically related. We go to her room , the sight of her makes glimmer fall to her knees. She lays there eyes closed a bandage around her head there is stitches up the side of her neck and all over her stomach, and her leg it being held up by a brace in the air. I sink down in a chair and silent tears fall down my face.

2 hours later
I see Katniss start to squirm and her eyes flutter open, she starts breathing heavily and tries ripping the tubes and wires of her. Her eyes wide with fear confusion. I feel to bad for her "P-prim" she chocked out "PRIM!" She scream over and over "Katniss it's okay hush , shhh it's okay Prims okay " I say to her and she calms down, her head and eyes dart all over the room. "Katniss, do you know who I am?" I ask her being worried she will have amnesia. "Finnick, you are my big brother Finnick " she pauses " and and that's Glimmer my best friend" she barley whispers the words let alone speaks. I go find a nurse and she tells us that she will be able to leave in a few hours considering she needs to rest.
Peeta POV
I sit in my room ignoring all my texts and calls knowing they are going to be Delly. I'm flicking through the channels and I stop at the news when I hear this . "Young girl Katniss Everdeen , gets stabbed and was rushed to the hospital." Then Finnick pops up and I am really confused at this point because glimmer stands beside him with red puffy eyes "She was saying something about our teacher how she married the man who killed her father and then said she doesn't deserve to be here, and that she should have gotten killed by that car not her father and then she ran out of the school, we drove to the meadow in district 12 and we saw her there. She sprinted out of the forest looking like she was limping and the she saw us , after I told her not to hurt herself that her sister couldn't cope with it a knife flew through the air and she ripped it out of her stomach and fell to the ground then we rushed her to the hospital, she now has 40 stitches on her neck and her stomach where she was stabbed, a broken ankle and a few bruises on her head causing her a bit of memory loss." A tear slips out of his eye " but she's awake now and everything is okay" says glimmer with a shaking voice. They show pictures of Katniss. I shut off the tv and call Finnick. No answer, I try again and again just to be ignored but one text "You broke her heart Mellark, Don't ever talk to me again. She is my little sister and you almost had her Kill her self! " - Finnick.
