When you best friend leaves your heart broken. You think you can't live without them but then after 3 weeks you don't feel the pain anymore. You thought you would last forever but you only lasted for 5 years. You loved them you thought they loved you, but they obviously didn't love you as much as you loved them. But now you don't hurt as much, now you're ok without them. You don't need them even though you feel their presence isn't there anymore, but you're ok because and you're finally at peace with yourself.
