Anywhere But Here

I dream of going into a far off world where i don't have to wake up at 6 just to be on time

I dream of the world outside of these cold walls

I dream of a place where I can sleep forever

I dream of being anywhere but here

I want to go to the mountains and live there for a while

I want to go to the beach and watch the waves tumble down over the shore.

I want to go to the tower in the city of lights and watch them sparkle

I want to go and eat pasta in the city of love

I want to go to see where the first olympics started

I want to go and feel the cold and see the colors of the sky up way north

I want to be anywhere but here

Here is where I've had my heart broken

Here is where my life broke down

Here is where I want to leave

Here is difficult because of the memories

Here is where i was first hurt

Here is where I was first betrayed

But here is where i met the guy of my dreams

Here is where good memories happened

Here is where i learned more than i planned

I want to be anywhere but here, but even here had some good things as well
