Meeting The Strokes

"JOANA!" I yelled at my best friend and she jumped from watching tv
"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT YOU SCARED THE LIVING SHIT OUT OF ME!" She yelled holding her chest while sitting on our couch in our apartment in New York
"THE STROKES CAME OUT WITH A NEW ALBUM THATS WHAT FUCKING HAPPENED!" I squealed as I fucking love The Strokes, I love them so much and have been fangirling over them since they first started playing shows.
"Great I don't really care." She said so I widened my eyes and gave her a creepy smile showing I was gonna kill her "oh my god Cassandra stop that okay they are good but I'm not obsessed like you are" she laughed
"Hey I am not obsessed" I said putting my hands on my hip
"Mhm sure not like you don't wanna fuck Julian all the time" she smirked at me 
"Hey you think Nick is hot so shut the fuck up" I glared and she put up her hands in defense
"Well you want to go out to a deli or something I'm starving" I said rubbing my stomach
"Sure let me put on a jacket though it's freezing outside" Joana said grabbing her jacket and putting on her shoes as did I and we walked down the busy streets for a while walking into a small deli which deserves way more publicity because they make everything so good. We ordered our food and sat down in the corner of the store
"Why is New York so cold it's always so hot in Mexico" I whined to Joana
"That's New York kid freezing your ass off 24/7 and always crowded" she laughed, I saw out of the corner of my eyes some guys walking in but didn't pay much attention because I didn't care.
"You will experience change when you illegally cross the border" Joana laughed so I laughed with her
"Hey don't judge me and I'm not illegal I passed my U.S citizen ship test way long ago so piss off" I laughed
"Mhm sure wait what is that 'la migra' or however you say it" Joana laughed
"God you sound so weird saying it, no offense to people trying to learn Spanish and don't have an accent" I said as the worker brought us hot chocolate and our sandwiches
"Thank you" I said and he just gave me a dirty look so I gave one back "fuck off man" I said and Joana laughed and I heard the guys that walked in snicker at my comment "fucking Christ what's wrong with you New Yorkers I try to be polite and they always give me dirty look, like what did I ever do I'm trying to be nice" I complained and bit my sandwich
"Just New Yorkers being themselves, everyone's busy and wants no one to get in their way" she said biting hers
"I'd rather be surrounded by gangs and war again then this shit" I laughed and Joana just shook her head rolling her eyes.
"I swear the local drug dealers and gang members in Mexico are friendlier than New Yorkers" I laughed and Joana almost spit out her hot chocolate all over me so I laughed even harder
"Are you okay miss" chuckled the guys that came in earlier
"Yah I-I'm fine" I said still laughing barley being able to breathe
"I like your friends laugh it's contagious" he started to laugh along with me and Joana and the rest of his friends did too until we were all crying of laughter
"Why are we even laughing anymore" I said catching my breathe and taking deep breathes.
"I don't even know man" laughed one of the guys.
"Well that was fun thanks for that" I laughed turning my head finally towards them and my jaw dropped, I turned towards Joana and she laughed at me
"Oh my god" she laughed then turned towards them "my friend loves you and wants to fu-" she said but I kicked her under the table stopping her
"I don't know what she was gonna say" I awkwardly laughed "I think she was saying that I wanted to ffffinish this sandwich" I said and they raised their eyebrows at me, so I slapped my forehead "that was a bad play off of words and you guys know it"
"Yah, yah it was" Fabrizio laughed "but don't worry Jules here has a little cru-" but Julian cut him off
"You wanna come sit with us" he smiled glancing at Fab as he smiled devilishly
"We would love too" Joana said without me saying anything so I gritted my teeth. I sat next to Julian and Joana sat next to Nick. I blushed looking down not really knowing what to say because I just can't say I love them out loud out of no where I would probably scare them off.
"Huh Cass" laughed Joana bringing me back into reality
"What?" I said not paying attention to earlier
"Didn't one time you got so drunk that you flashed a bouncer to get into a club" she laughed and my face went completely red
"I don't know what your talking about" I stuttered looking away and the rest laughed
"Dang it I wished I was there to see it" said Fab so I turned even more red sliding down into my chair
"Now I can get into that club all I want atleast" I chuckled "the bouncers always have me on that list because one of them likes me" I slid down farther as the rest laughed at me
"Even though she'd rather stay at home and read a book or play instruments" added Joana
"What kind of instruments do you play"  asked Nikolai
"Guitar, bass, drums, piano, marimbas, flute, ukulele, violin, and I sing a little" I said readjusting myself in my seat
"Wow that's a lot" said Julian surprised and I just nodded my head taking a sip of my hot chocolate, but of the corner of my eyes I saw Julian licking his lips looking at mine so I placed the cup down quickly and drank what was in my mouth, blushing.
"Say something romantic in Spanish because we were listening to your conversation, well mostly Jules but yah" laughed Albert
"Tú estas ún puta" I said in a lovely voice and Fab snickered I'm guessing he knows Spanish or some
"Real funny Cass" Joana said rolling her eyes, she picked up some of my Spanish since we live together
"Wait what did she say" asked Nick confused
"She said you are a bitch" answered Fab and I smiled biting my sandwich.
"Since you aren't from around her natively how do you like it?" asked Nick
"Well I left Mexico around when I was 12-13 and lived in San Jose for a while in California. I then moved to New York and met Joana after having classes with her and became best friends" I said taking a sip from my drink, as soon as I put it down Julian grabbed it and dank out of it. I blushed as he smiled at me, why is he doing this....does he just want to get into my pants....I mean im flattered but I'm not let anyone just use me even if it is someone that I love.
"I mean some New Yorkers are rude but I can manage" I laughed
"Is it that big of a difference from Mexico and New York?" asked Albert "Where did you live in Mexico"
"I lived in Reynosa" I said kind of quietly
"Isn't that right by the border to Texas" asked Nikolai and I nodded my head
"Also isn't that place in like super bad condition?" asked Fab and again I nodded
"Me and my family don't have a lot of money so I work a lot of jobs and I just finished my 5th year in University to become a Science teacher for college classes so I've been working my ass off to pay my student loans and our apartment and" I sighed "you know what why am I telling you this, this isn't your problem I shouldn't burden you with it" I awkwardly laughed. Julian opened his mouth to say something but closed it.
"Anyways enough talking about me what about you guys" I smiled
"Well we just released a new album so that's fun, we are gonna tour soon" said Julian and I smiled but internally I was screaming
"That's really cool but I don't know why she asked you because she already knows everything about you guys" Joana laughed and I sunk down into my seat embarrassed
"Really hmmm what's my favourite colour?" asked Fab happy
"Uh idk that, maybe blue?" I said and he clapped saying I was right "okay wow I was guessing but that's cool my favourite colour is blue too" I laughed
"What's the size of my dick?" chuckled Julian so I blushed looking away and the rest laughed at me, he put his arm around me and made me turn back around. He got close to my face and said "I'm playing with you" reassuring me that he was just joking but I was looking into his forest green eyes and how beautiful they are then his lips and how full they are, I realized I was staring for too long so I looked away quickly blushing again "you're adorable" Julian giggled under his breathe and turned back to the rest talking. I took out my phone, checked the time and sighed so Joana looked at me
"I was really nice to meet you guys but I have work to get to" I sighed tiredly since I've been taking late shifts at the record store and working at the radio station. I sat up and rubbed my eyes yawning
"Do you have to go" asked Nikolai
"Sadly yes unless I want to be homeless with college debt still" I laughed
"Bye guys it was nice" Joana smiled and we grabbed our cups and headed out but before I exited the store someone grabbed my hand and pulled me back
"I was wondering if I could possibly get your number" Julian asked scratching the back of his neck and I gave him a confused expression "so you know we can hang out again" and I awkwardly laughed
"Yah sure" I said grabbing my phone as the heat rises to my cheeks. He got it and I smiled saying bye again.
"Ooo you just got his number now step two is to give him a blow job" Joana joked so I punched her arm

Me: yah it is
Julian: okay good you didn't blow me off and give me a different number haha
Me: I would never do that, that's horrible xD

I screamed internally while I showed Joana the brief conversation we had while walking back home
"He definitely wants you" Joana smirked at me
"Even if he did I'm not gonna let him use me" I said taking a sip from my drink remembering that Julian's lips were on here earlier so I smiled "I do have some dignity" I laughed. We got back to our apartment after a while and I got ready for work. I looked at the clock and saw it was 8:42 pm "okay bye Joana see you later!" I yelled grabbing my satchel and leaving. I got to the store after walking a while saying bye to my co-worker. We would get regulars coming in and buying so I naturally got bored, I put on some of The Beatles and sang along not realizing that people came in
"So you can sing huh" said Fab scaring me so I jumped a little and held my chest sighing deeply
"Please don't do that" I lightly laughed
"Sorry" he chuckled "so this is where you work"
"Yah just doing anything to pay off bills" I said going back behind the counter
"Anything" Fab smirked at me raising his eyebrows
"Ay no don't think that way I will bitch slap you" I laughed "I do any reasonable jobs"
"Aw no fun" he playfully pouted "I mean a hooker and stripper is a reasonable job to some people" he smiled tilting his head
"I'm not going to just give out my body" I said flabbergasted that he would say that "also I'm a virgin" I said quietly
"Wait what?" asked Fab
"I'm a virgin so I wouldn't become a hooker in the first place because I don't know what sex is" I said kind of muffled but I was still embarrassed
"Really?!" Fab seemed surprised
"Yah...?" I said with a confused face on why I wouldn't be a virgin "why wouldn't I be?"
"Like are you sure you are a virgin" Fab asked looking me up and down so I crossed my arms over my chest feeling insecure
"U-uh are you gonna buy anything" my voice shook
"Yah" he said turning around and walking to the vinyls. I sighed as my face turned slightly red, Fab came back with a couple vinyls and I put them in the cash register giving him a bag with his stuff
"See you another time Cassandra" Fab waved
"You and the rest can just call me Cass it's easier" I said and he nodded his head as I waved my hand back
