Chapter 23 (Part 1)

Dan POV (Sunday)

It's Valentines day today, I'm going to come back and surprise him. I have it all planned out perfectly; At 8:30 tonight when his parents are walking their dog I'm going to go inside and leave him his gift then I'm going to wait nearby until he has read the card and come outside to find me. It's going to be perfect.

I sneaked out to the shop this morning around 5am to buy him something. I ended up buying him a cool sonic T-shirt and a card that said 'happy Valentines day' on the front and when you opened it a cartoon cat said "I love you." It was really cool and I knew Phil would love it!

I went back to the small hut and wrapped Phil's present and wrote in the card. It was only about 9 when I had successfully wrapped his present, and I was hungry but I only had half a jar of Nutella and a Capri-sun left so I just had that. It was probably the least nutritious but it was still pretty nice!

After I disposed of the jar and the Capri-sun it was 10:30 and I needed to sleep otherwise I would pass out when I was waiting for Phil. I first went back to my house to grab some clean clothes for today and then I returned to the small hut. I checked my phone and sent Phil a happy Valentines day message with 5 kisses on the end. I soon fell asleep and I woke up at 7:30, wow I slept for ages!

I sneaked out to the shops with the money I found in my piggy bank I had when I was 6. I bought 2 boxes of maltesers, a giant bottle of water, a multi-pack of energy drinks, some apples and a packet of chocolate biscuits. I bought loads even though I plan to come home tomorrow because if I need to hide again I will have enough to last me for a while.

By the time i got back it was 8 and I needed to head out soon to get to Phil's house at 8:30 so I grabbed his presents and headed out into the cold wind. The dark sky and my dark hoodie hid me well as I walked to Phil's house. 

I arrived at Phil's house to see light streaming through a crack in the door. I slowly pushed it open to reveal Phil pressed against the wall with his shirt off kissing... Pj.
