I was on top the the rock, sunbathing. I have gotten used to the human, as it doesn't seem like a threat anymore. Sparky told me I'd get used to the human. I guess she was right. I'm pretty sure that she sees me as a snack, mostly because of how much younger I am then her. I watched as the human put it's hand in the "cage", and picked me up. I welcomed it now. The human pet under my neck, causing me to stand up taller. The human got out Sparky, putting my on it's leg, and her on it's shoulder. I watched, as Sparky, with her bad eye towards me, shifted closer to the human's hair. It pet her head, causing Sparky's bad eye to start trying to blink. Then, her gaze shifted towards me, regarding me like I was food. I shifted, uneasy. Suddenly, she slid down the human's side, coming towards me. I hissed, but she wasn't deterred at all. She bit my side, and I felt a sharp sting. I could also feel the human pulling us away, scolding Sparky it sounded like. I could feel that she had barely broke my skin, but it would still hurt and leave a scar. I looked at the human as it picked me up, examining my wounds. It put me in some warm water, washing the bite marks. It then put me back on the rock, watching over me for a while, before sighing and sitting back down. Sparky had a apologetic look on her face, as if she was sorry. I growled quietly, before curling up on the rock, resting. I watched as a mealworm crawled by. I had to stop letting them go. I sighed again, to hurt and shocked to move. I soon fell asleep on the warm rock.
