Draco's POV
The pretty lizard, Red, had gone home with her human. I heard Sparky's low, muffled laughter. I turned my head to her, glaring in her direction. "Who are you laughing at?" She only laughed a bit more in response. "I asked you a question." Sparky lifted up her nose from the towel she had muffled her laughter in. "Have you even noticed?" I turned my head, my hostility turning into curiosity. "What do you mean?" Sparky snorted. "That Red may be the only one who actually likes you!" I felt my hostility creep back all throughout my body, all the way to the tips of every scale. "And? What does that have to do with anything?" Sparky stared at him with her single eye. "Oh, so you haven't noticed? I promised I wouldn't tell you that she-" Sparky cut herself off before she said it. He glared at her harder, his colors dark. "I think she's the only one who has never seen you hostile. In fact, you act kinda off around her." I hissed. "So! That's my business!" Sparky grinned. " I've heard you mumble t yourself while you're falling asleep. 'what are these emotions?' 'Why do I act nice to her?' 'I don't want to scare her away' That last one is my favorite." (Sparky is only a few years old, which is still kinda young for a bearded dragon. She has a reason to be like this.) I snorted and hissed one last time, storming off to the other side of the tank in pure anger. We didn't talk for the rest of the day.
Oooh, I wonder if anybody gets the reference in this? Draco isn't what you guys thought he was like!
