I was standing in front of the mirror, putting hair gel in my hair to make it stay brushed back in awesomeness.
The perfect hair was always the best way to start your day.

Then, I heard footsteps. "What do you think," asked Clary's voice.

I turned, leaning against the dresser.

Emma stood in the doorway, next to Clary (yes it was a good sized doorway) and she was looking down at her new black boots.

"Wow. You looked like your Mother when she was younger."

Clary let of a small laugh.

"Is everyone going to tell me that," asked Emma, as she looked up at me.

I crossed my arms over my chest. "Maybe. I don't know."

Clary smiled, "Don't listen to him, he just has a..," Clary paused to give me a harsh look, "smart mouth."

Judging by her look, Clary wanted to say a bit more.
