Inside, Alec just helped himself to the food in the kitchen, even though it was a day old, and had been out all night.
But he didn't care.

Magnus sat down on the couch.
After a few moments, he grew impatient, "Wine?"

"Huh," I said.

"Do you have any wine?"

"Sorry Magnus. Simon and I shared our last bottle last night."

At that moment, Alec walked in, holding a chicken leg in one hand, and an empty bottle of fancy wine in the other.
"Yeah, you did," he said through a mouthful of chicken.
"By the way. This chicken is a little dry Izzy."

I gave him a look, that said, "You're lucky I don't have any knives on me!"

Alec held up his hands in surrender, and backed up,disappearing back into the kitchen.

Magnus waved his hand, and his only suitcase appeared in his hand.
He set it down next to him, an opened it.
Then, he pulled out a bottle of wine.

"I'm done," muttered Simon from behind me.

"Did you only pack wine," I asked.

"Yes," answered Magnus, and Alec, whom had been listening from the kitchen, at the same time.

"Please... don't drink all of that at once," I muttered softly.

"I make," Magnus paused as he popped the top off the wine bottle, "no promises."
Then he took a swig out of the bottle.
