I had literally ripped off the long-sleeve shirt.
I was so fully sick of long-sleeve shirts, that I vowed that even in the winter time, I'd never wear one again.

I went into the back of the closet and pulled out a fresh pair of black jeans, and slipped them on.
"If you looking for your gear and everything else," I heard Clary say from the bedroom doorway, "then look in the chest at the foot of the bed."
I turned to see her pulling off the long-sleeve shirt and pj pants, then she walked over to the closet, and pulled out dark blue jeans and a black tank-top.
She slipped on the jeans as I walked over and looked into the chest.

Inside was everything that we had hid from Emma.
Our old Steles and blades. Clary's sword, Heosphoros. Framed pictures of Clary and I in Shadowhunter gear, and normal clothes. Two of Alec and Magnus: one with Alec in gear, and the other with Alec in normal clothes, both with Magnus in his normal, crazy outfits. Two of Isabelle and Simon: one of them in gear, and the other was them in normal clothes.

I reached past the pictures, and pulled out my old gear.
When I reached my old black leather jacket, I picked it up, "Oh how I've missed you my leather friend," I muttered, feeling like I was about to hug the jacket.

          "Really Jace?"
I looked up to see that Clary had put on her gear as well, and was reaching for Heosphoros, to attach to her weapons belt, along with her stele.
Her bare arms reveled the markings of old runes, letting the one on the under side of her wrist stand out.
It was our love rune... our Marriage Runes.
We both had one over our heart and on our right wrist.

I stood and pulled on a black shirt that had very short sleeves, then I clasped my weapons belt around my waist.

"You look so hot without sleeves," I told Clary when I was finished.

"So do you," she added, before walking back downstairs.
I hadn't noticed that she was wearing heeled black boots until I heard the heels click down the stairs.

By the Angel she was so beautiful!
